OK so I finally had enough feeling like crap and started researching how I have been feeling. All signs point to possibly having low test. I went to my primary doctor and we pulled old labs from 2013(to which I never followed up on) and everything checked out OK. But my test was only 401, I'm 25 now so almost 2 years ago I was a 401. I feel like the last year or so things have gotten worse. Just for reference my father is 42 and his was a 480 not long ago before he got TRT. But seeing as hes 42 and I'm 25 I would have hoped to at least have what he has or higher.
So i have to get a new lab done come Monday. According to a lot of the articles that I've been reading there is no specific amount for age groups, but would you guys consider a 401 low for my age ?
Also my Dr seemed less than enthusiastic to even talk about TRT or test being the problem in general. In fact he said i wasn't the highest hes seen but I certainly wasn't the lowest, and from my labs back when he said I just in the low end of normal? Depending on new lab results i may be looking for a new DR? So Monday I will get my blood work done and post the new results. But in the mean time I'm very interested in hearing opinions of others. Thanks
