Save the images using imageshack.us or imgur.com and paste them here using and [/ img] tags. LOTS easier than trying to save images locally on 'ology as attachments. :)
Example: I find an image like one at [url]http://bestgamewallpapers.com/files/armed-and-dangerous/the-team.jpg[/url].
I then (okay, copyright stuff aside) go to imageshack.us and choose to upload by url and choose to resize as some images are HUGE. 800x600 is what I usually pick, but you can play around with it.
Once you select upload now, you can copy the text from the "forum code" window by double right clicking and picking copy. I do use a few browser ad blockers, so you might have to monkey around with registration or popups that they use to interfere with the process in order to get you to register.
[[If you use firefox: RIP, adblock plus and noscript will be a life saver in these kinds of cases as you can prevent them from trying to monkey with your ability to upload. If you're not very computer literate, you might just want to surrender to their desire for a free account haha.]]
Now you can paste that link which will look like:

I then tend to remove all the imageshack advertising, leaving just the middle part in the [IMG] tags. Now you have an image like:
