post workout meal or ...

Im using Cellucor M5 creatine which requires atleast 30+ ounces of water during workout, I use it before and after workout taken with food.

before workout I take it with my dinner after workout since so much water intake during can a post workout meal consist of an apple, and a detour protein bar to take with the M5 ?

how does a protein bar compare to a shake for absortion, usually drink a shake after but can it be replaced with a bar because of alot of water during workout dont want to drink a shake right after and cause (bloating) but would drink it later on.

An apple and a Detour protein bar could this be a substitute instead of a MRP post workout? along with Kre- Aklyin creatine.
and then have the shake later on.
 
this forum is informative, cant get a single answer as to eating an apple and a protein bar for post workout meal. what happened to all the diet Guru's ?

OK here ya go ditch the bar, too many fillers and other shit in there. Have a shake and I doublt you will bloat from water. I mix my shakes with as little water as possible you dont need a gallon of water in your shakes bro 1cup is usually enough. So fuck the bar and drink the shake. There !

Detour bars are made with designer whey whats wrong with that, the rest of my protein comes from food+1shake.
 
what else is in the bar? type out the nutrient profile and the ingredients? Does it have peanuts, chocolate or anything else???? these things will slow digestion. You want RAPID absorbtion of protein and carbs PWO and the shake WITH water is the BEST way to go.

Detour bars are junk - its a snickers with more protien. The ingredients will tell you that. Your better off eating some white rice with lean strips of beef. or a tuna sandwhich post WO.
 
No to the Bar -

As far as the PW shake - No to the Milk, use water.

No as far as the amount of water?? Is this a carb drink your using - If so then it could require that amount of water depending on the amount of carbs in the drink.

IE: - 2.7 ml / g of carbs

Stick with a good carb High Molecular Glucose Polymer and Whey protein Isolate PW.

Later on you can hit a whole food meal
