pari6819 Evolutionary Apr 30, 2004 #24 if I just buy some chains can I just drape them or would a smaller chain and hook be a good way of securing them on the barbell?

P pullinbig Community Veteran Apr 30, 2004 #25 you need big chains. the little ones dont weigh much. a hook works best to secure chains to the bar.
pari6819 Evolutionary Apr 30, 2004 #26 Gotcha I meant little ones to use as hooks around the barbell, not as the actual primary weight
P pullinbig Community Veteran Apr 30, 2004 #27 oh sorry i misunderstood. yea that'll work. put an extra clamp on to keep it from sliding.
pari6819 Evolutionary Apr 30, 2004 #28 thanks bro for the insight, oh btw does anyone know the length that would be best for the chains?
