Pre cycle bloods take a look

What time of the day was the blood work taken?

How much sleep are you getting each night? Are you restricting calories? Are you following a healthy diet? Are you on any medications? Have you used prohormones? Illnesses? Testicular trauma? Head trauma? Anything else that is unusual that you can think of?

Bloods were taken about 9 am after a 12 hr fast. Normally get 8 hrs of sleep a night, no prohormones or medications. The only thing I can really think of is for the last 2 weeks I've been cutting my carbs back a tad to drop a little more BF before my cycle. Somedays I'll eat just under my normal amount of carbs and other days I'll eat 1-150 G's of carbs. so its not like I dropped all carbs, just cutting back

I think you should run blood work again. You are approaching hypogonadal levels. It is strange that your FSH is high and LH is low. Checking Prolactin too would be a good idea. I really encourage you to do this before running a cycle. You may be a candidate for TRT. If so, you would want to work with a doctor to be treated before running a cycle.

I am also wondering if you have ever had fertility issues. Do you have kids and was it easy to conceive?

Our first kid took about 8yrs to have b/c the wife has something up with her. Had my seimen tested and I forgot the number but it was high and healthy. So ended up having our first after 8 yrs of trying. Decided to try again about 6 months ago and now the wife is 5 months pregnant.

i did notice a few days ago I Couldn't get a full erection about 9am. Didn't really think much of it but after seeing my jacked up FSH and LH, that half wood from the other day was the first thing I thought of

Diet - usually will look like this.... Decent size bowl of this protein and oats cereal 5 min after waking up. Workout directly afterward (basement lifter), followed by something sweet to get my glycogen levels up(probably chocalate skim milk) and creatine. About 20-30 min later 2 whole eggs with a 1/2 cup of egg whites and a 1/2-3/4 cup of oats. Vit B12 and fish oil with breakfast. For work I pack Nuts, 2 hearty sandwichs on wheat with about 6 oz of ham, turkey, or roast beef along with cheese and spinach only, 2 protein bars, 1-2 cans of tuna, and a 18 G protein turkey jerkey. Will eat all this spread out while at work. Come home in the evening and eat a nice protein/carb dinner(usually chicken/brown rice/veggies). Then right before bed ill make my protein shake that consist of 1 scoop whey isolate, 1/2 cup of egg whites, water and a multi vit.
I drink water all day long
And I try not to although I'll have a cheat meal 2-3 times a week. Bbq at a buddies house or pizza. Something like that. Gave up fast food about year ago

I don't think the LH and FSH are directly a cause of ED.

So you think running a test cycle could further complicate things. The wife and I are for sure done with having kids if that plays a factor

Yes, I do. You should focus on your health issues before running a cycle. You very well could end IP on TRT for the rest of your life.

Have a doc app scheduled. Looks like I'm gonna have to push back the cycle again. I've had my gear for over a year now, whats a few more months.

Health and safety first, then team work!

Thanks for the advice megatron

Got into the doc finally and it looks like a T-restart is what we are going to try. Been doing a little googling on the subject and I'm finding a 6 week cycle of clomid to be the norm for a restart. My doc wants to put me on testosterone (cyp I think it was) for 6 months. Didn't get into much detail yet, waiting on the blood work to confirm. I just showed him my online results using my phone. I imagine something like a trt dose/ai/hcg followed by pct. Not sure but from what I was reading the clomid restart will sometimes help/work but levels usually drop back down after a cpl months. maybe the 6 month trt restart will produce better results.

Any thoughts?

I am confused. Does your doc want to try a restart or put you on TRT? If you want to try a restart, don't further suppress your HPTA by running Testosterone. That will just make your problem worse.

I say trt dose, probably 150-200 mg's per week is what Im assuming when he says he wants to put me on a test injection for 6 months, I'm not sure tho

But yes I was a little confused as well. Seems like shutting me down will only make natty levels worse. Like I said we did not get into much detail at all. And after doing a little research it seems the clomid restart isn't very successful so maybe he has some new method I don't know. Going over blood work this thurs

I would tell him you want to try the restart first (clomid). If it doesn't work then you can do TRT for the rest of your life. Doing TRT for six months and further suppressing your HPTA would be counterproductive to a successful restart.

Do you find it be a royal pain in the ass? Im yet to use testosterone but Ive always liked the idea of trt as opposed to a cycle.

I wouldn't compare TRT to cycling. Apples and oranges.

I wish I didn't have to be on TRT, but I am glad it is such an effective treatment for hypogonadism. It was a life saver for me. I am sure most diabetics wish they didn't have diabeties too.
