Primary or Secondary - does my LH level tell the tale?

Friends, I was diagnosed with hypogonadism about a year and a half ago and do 150mg cyp weekly with great success.
I was going through my original test results which now make a bit more sense to me. At the time I was, understandably most interested in the T levels which were 305/50 (total/free).
Going back, I see that my LH was 3.2, Prolactin was 4.0 and SHBG was 39.
As I understand it, primary is the failure of the testicles, while secondary is the failure of the pituitary to produce normal levels of LH. So I went on line to determine whether my LH level would suggest what flavor I have. The problem is that the range I discovered was huge - normal being anything for 0.7 LH to 14. While the Total T test had a NL range of 300 to 750, as I recall, the LH range than exceeds a 15 times multiple seems a bit absurd.
Can anyone shed light on what LH levels one might see with a secondary hypo condition.
Much obliged.
