Pro-bodybuilders have daughters due to steriod use?

Is it me or what? But have you noticed that a majority of the Pro-bodybuilders have daughters more than sons? Do you think its due to steriod usage? If so that's a pity.

I was told that weight lifting is what causes the daughters. I have no clue if this true, or the mechanism, but i have been told it more than once.

My buddy has 2 brothers, and no sisters, and his did is clean.

My grandmother had like 10 sisters, and 1 brother, her parents were clean.

My grandfather has all brothers, his parents were clean.

The person who told me has a wife that works as a ultrasound tech, and she told him, he actually gave me a name, it has to do with some kind of blockage. I will find out. I never heard of it before he told me, so who knows.

OK here's a basic birth 101 class for those who dont how you were sexed as a wee one. at about 6 weeks if if the Y chromonsome is present then the gonadal tissue starts to form into testes (nuts). in an absense of Y chromosme the same tissue will form into ovaries app 2 weeks later.

now since all this is happening in you mama i dont see where dads Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) usage would make any differnce.

The sex of the baby is determined by the father's sperm. All of the eggs produced by the mother are identical, with an X-chromosome, but the father issues sperm with both X and Y chromosomes. If an X sperm impregnates an X egg, you get a female offspring. If a Y sperm impregnates a X egg, you get a male baby.

So King Henry VIII was to blame for all his daughters, it wasn't the fault of all the wives he divorced or beheaded.

NOW -- can steroid use affect how many X and Y-chromosome sperm the father produces, or affect their ability to swim? Who knows...

A couple of additional points:

Humans tend to produce slightly more female than male babies. I don't remember what the ratio is, but it's not 50:50, it's somewhere around 52F:48M.

Our own Needsize sired a son while he was on a heavy cycle.
