Probiotics are:

Live microorganisms (in most cases, bacteria) that are similar to beneficial microorganisms found in the human gut. They are also called "friendly bacteria" or "good bacteria."

Probiotics are available to consumers mainly in the form of dietary supplements and foods. (for example, capsules, tablets, and powders) and in some other forms as well.

Examples of foods containing probiotics are
yogurt, fermented and unfermented milk, miso, tempeh, and some juices and soy beverages.

In probiotic foods and supplements, the bacteria may have been present originally or added during preparation.

what do probiotics do in the body ?

The body, including the colon, is naturally filled with bacteria, yeast, and other microbes that work in symbiosis with the human body.
These helpful bacteria enable healthier digestion and help fight infectious disease.
Probiotics are similar in their effect and behavior to these helpful bacteria, and play an important role in helping the body to gain or maintain a healthy internal ecosystem.

The amount of "good bacteria" in the gut can be compromised by antibiotics or pathogenic microbes. When "unfriendly" yeasts, bacteria, or viruses colonize the colon, they can cause or contribute to many conditions, including ulcers, weakened immune system, irritable bowel syndrome, vaginal infection, and diarrhea.
Probiotics keep these problems at bay by stabilizing the balance of intestinal flora.

I have always been intrigued by probiotics,
so many health benefits.

I've ben looking into: Advanced Probiotic from Ruthless Supplements.

Is anyone else taking Probiotics ? & if so what are you taking?

Interesting post, I really don't know much about probiotics but I will have to explore them as an addition to my regimen. Thanks for the info.

I HIGHLY reccommend these!

"Advanced Probiotic" do we need to keep the bottle in the fridge?
I know most pro-biotics need to be kep in fridge.

These to me always stand out. Having been on enough anti-biotics in recent years to kill likely everything in my body, probiotics are a decent part of my health regime for keeping my body up to speed.

Low intestinal flora can cause all kinds of issues. If your healthy bacteria in your gut is low, all kinds of complications can actually arise I have come to find out.

I love them. I take them daily. I just get them from the drug store with my vitamins. I am not sure if it is necesarry but i do keep the bottle in the fridge.

Yes, I've read you need to do keep the bottle in the fridge, I'm gonna try finding it at the drug store, & comparing it to this product.

gonna pick them up soon but also been looking at Digesta Matrix thats also been added to RLS, looks like it could be a great detox stack.

I looked at Digesta too, but wasn't sure if u could stack it with Advanced Probiotics,
I'm lactose intolerant, so I can't wait to start using Advanced Probiotics, I think it will help me for sure.

I'm planning on ordering it by Monday, so hopefully I'll have it by Wed/Thurs :)
