problem with diet and work

OK here is the problem, I work in the offshore in the gulf of mexico on a drilling rig. my food is fixed for me and it is so easy to cheat on my diet due to them fixing every kind of desert that you can think of and when they fix food its usually high in fat lots of time they have fish and i eat that with a salad. i need a supplement to help with the cravings of sweets and to help keeps the sweets out of my damn mouth. there is so much out there so whats best. Any ideas would be extremly difficult being i am having problems leaning out.

Welcome to the board! Interesting first post Im tryin to understand it. Are you currently supplementing with AAS? As far as the sweet cravings. For me sweet cravings went away as I carbed up a lot early in the day then tapered it down threwout. Also if you drink a lot of whole milk eat some pastas and basically keep eating all threwout the day 2-3 hrs. They should subside. As far as a sup to curb the craving Im not sure there is one just diet right like explained above.
What else helps me is to drink a protein shake if I ever crave sweets which is rare.

i am worried about taking to many carbs is there a limit when trying to loose fat. i have always had a gut used to be a big belly now just a small gut. I'm having a hard time loosing that gut i do 20-30 minutes of cardio every other day. at 5'10" and 250lbs i was a fat guy now i weight 210lbs and increased my muscle mass substantally but now i am at a stand still with the weight loss. i have pushed myself for 2-3 weeks hard eating every 2-3 hours with about 1800 calories a day. i really cut down on the fat and complex carbs but i still have not lost anymore belly fat. i don't know what to do

How old are you? Also losing BF% doesn't mean eating less. If you really want to lose that gut well hope you aint drinkin beer for one. You can eat carbs you just got to eat the right ones and no when. Are you weight training at all.

Truthfully you usually dont hear this on here cause a lot of guys like myself are all about the bulk or the cut which the diet can get complex.

Here you go. The body for life program works wonders in losing BF. I dont care what people say. Ive tried it my friends have tried my mom has tried it it works. It's real simple you weight train 3 days a week and cardio first thing in the morning three days a week on an empty stomach. Wake up drink two big glasses of water take some amino acids and go for a 20-30 minute jog. start out slow then go faster come back to slow for a few minutes then go faster. It shocks the system. That works great. Drink a lot of green tea. Don't take ephedra if you haven't messed with other things yet I mean you can but not recommended.

Body for life diet simple. 3 meaLS 3 shakes. Myoplex shakes from EAs. The meals go like this. One protein one carbohydrate, ex. eggs and piece of fruit. Cottage cheese and yogurt. Steak and potato you can mix salad cause you need your greens. Chicken breast brown rice. You gotta be disciplined but the diet is easy to prepare and is extremely effective for fat loss. What it's doing is putting your metabolism in overdrive burning up little meals so you can get the next one.

Hope this helps.

yeap i am weight training 3 times a week and running sprints on a tread mill 1 min. at 3.5mph 1 min at 8-9mph so on for 10 min then i rest 2-3 minutes and run a 10 min mile the ride a stationary bike for 10 minutes with as much resistance as i can take i always try to push myself harder and harder. yes i have used the body for life program before and it worked when i could buy and fix my own meals but working on a offshore rig makes it hard. Most of the people working in the oilfield don't care what they put in there body. i think that my best bet maybe to bring protein powder with me too work. just it kinda sucks because i work 2weeks on and 2 weeks off so i need to bring enough to last me 2 weeks and oh yea i am 32. been working in this environment for the past month so its only been a problem since then

buy some slow digesting protein powder in bulk and bring it along
dont rely on whey

buy some jam or jelly with splenda and some low carb crackers--but watch
the calories
