Proper Syringe Volume - Am I injecting too much?

So it is getting into my 5th week and my injections are starting to hurt more than the first few weeks. I believe it is be a use I 'think' in using more than 1ml, the reason for this is because when I lube the needle I lose some and I didn't want to underdose. Here's my procedure, fill 20g syringe with test til the syringe is full from the needle to the 1cc mark, I pull air into the syringe to clear the needle so I can put my 23g. needle in and inject. When I put the new needle in it says it's about 1.5cc, when I push up and fill the needle head it's about 1.1cc, so what dosage am I actually using?Would when I pull it in to change the needle should it be 1cc there?

It doesnt need to be that complicated my friend. Draw the desired amount of oil into the syringe. Pull back a bit, swap pins push air out until you just see a bubble of oil at the tip of the pin and give er man.

Are you rotating injection sites?

That's exactly what I do,I guess I am trying to overcomplicate it. Yes, I switch between right and left quad, I am too new/nervous/whatever to hit any other injection sites. I hate hate hate hitting nerves so I still to the Vastusn lateralis.

That's a big part of your issue. You want at LEAST four injection sites to minimize scar tissue and PIP from putting more oil into a barely-healed depot.

Try the delts or glutes, both are easy and have few nerve endings. Spotinjections.com has some decent pics showing locations.

Why are you worried about injecting too much-- shit I'd be worried about not injecting enough (" crap did I have enough test in that last injection, hmm, I don't know, heck maybe I better inject another cc just to be safe" ... )

Seriously though . Just eyeball it. If your using an 18 g drawing needle then just get a full 1cc or whatever dose in there,, pull back, throw on pinning needle, plunger up, two taps to clear air, slight press up on plunger and air pops out with a slight drop of gear,, then inject.
If your goal is 200 mg for an injection, and you end up with 210 or 195,, it's not gonna matter
