Proper workout form help please

Hey guys, i was watching some kali muscle videos and he says to do half reps (not doing the whole motion) while lifting in order to have constant stress on the muscle. I was wondering if this was the correct form to put on some mass gains. Or should I continue to come all the way down and then all the way up. Appreciate any feedback.

That's truly an idiotic approach to training, sorry to Kali fans. TUT is a bogus metric invented by someone who had a training style to push IMO.
