I have a few questions about different types of protein and how quickly your body uses them. I know that eggs and whey are very fast and that meat is much slower. It's been brought to my attention that some meats are absorbed faster than others. What type of meat is the slowest? I want to be sure to start eating whatever that may be before I go to bed. I generally get the vast majority of my protein from chicken breast, canned tuna, post-workout shakes, and nuts for snacks. I usually have a steak once or twice a week and throw in beef liver every now and then. Any input, whether scientific or anectodal, is appreciated.
