Protein, carbs, fats........ needed to cut.

How many carbs can I consume if I want to lose bodyfat? 150g per day?

Also, I need to know how much fat I can eat per day, and what kind of fats? Thanks.

I know protein is like 1.5 or 2 grams per pound of lean body mass.

Is there anything I am missing here? If so, please letme know.

Everyone responds to low carbs differently but as a starting point, I would suggest:

-6 meals

-Cardio prior to 1st meal

-Protein 45% (minimum)
-Fats 35% (flax/udo's/fish oils/x-virgin oil)
-Carbs 20% (majority of which are consumed only after w/o's)
-Be sure to get your FIBER and greens
-LOTS of Water

-Supp with CLA (10-15 grams/day)

-NO carbs after 6:00 pm if you can help it

-Don't mix fat with carb meals

-Fish Oils, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Udo's Oil , Borage Seed Oil are best ....YES!

-CLA is also a fat but VERY healthy and aids in fat-loss.

-Avoid trans-fatty acids and saturated fats (some will disagree with this one).

I don't think there's a set amount of carbs per day. Some people have problems with carbs, I can eat candy all day long and not gain fat. Just listen to your body and pay attention.

DRveejay hit it right on the money with the fats. I'd say 30%, but as long as you stick with EFAs, polyunsaturated and monosaturated you should be good to go.

How much protein you need will depend on how much you drop carbs. If you drop carbs a little, then you could probably get away with 1g per lb of lean mass, but if you drop carbs hard then 1.5g or even 2g would probably be safer to prevent muscle loss.

All that being said, just read DRveejay's post again as he's right about everything. :)

its too individual to say for sure. My diet was around 200 carbs, 250 grams protein, and 6 table spoons of EFAs(essential fatty acids) per day
