Pullnbigs' power routine works....

Personally I think squats are a staple. I would do some hyper extensions to strenghten your back. Drop the weight down on your squat to get perfect form. This will cure the problem in the long run probably. Subbing squats with leg press just avoids the problem if you dont strengthen your back it will always be week, weather your pressing legs or not...Make sense ? You could lighten your squats, do Hypers and work on your deadlift program. Im sure you would see a fast improvement.

I'll give it a try once my back feels better. It just seems that whenever I really get in to it there goes my back! Besides I have to lay off for a while witht the weights - I'm in the process of moving and will get my workout that way ... :)

Hey pulln, Im starting test enanth 400/wk for 12 weeks. Ill start in a week or two how should I adjust my training. Thanks for your time bro....

i would suggest more than 400mg/w. that aint gonna do a whole lot. if you gonna do some then do some. i'd dbl the dosage at least. there is a mystical quality test has once you hit the 1g/w or better level. if you got the hormones available give it a shot. you might get a couple of bumps on your back but so what. tanning and loads of b5 will help that.

as far as training goes dont change anything but the amount of weight you move. it'll take the enan about 2 to 3 weeks to kick in good and once it does you will move up in weights at a faster pace.

ahhh...the mental aspect of this routine is killing me...lol :D guess i will get used to if after a couple weeks though. i have actually added about 10 to 15lbs on everything though in 3 weeks

example: last week i did 2x5 @ 265lbs deads and today i did 2x5 @ 295lbs (yea, still weak compared to you monsters but i dont care give me a year and I WILL leave you behind...LOL :D)

quick question, what do you do for warmups? i currenty do 10, 8 @ decent weight then 2x5 to failure. ohh yea, on my deads do i need to reset for each rep or just pull 5 reps and then reset for the next set?

first off congrats on the gains. thats why we are here. weight on the bar = meat on the bones.

check out the video clips i posted in frame 16 of the video training sticky. got a couple of differnt guys puullin deads to answer you question. i even posted a clip of me curling. first time in 2 years. it felt funny. lololol

try right clicking and "save link target as" to you desk top or wherever. that should work. when i pull them up real player comes up automatically as the viewer. get it together bubba, you gotta see me curling.

20 minutes later, it loaded. lol

Awesome curls bro. What the hell is that guy saying in the background though? haha!

oh didnt i mention that we are country as hell down here? we have our own language that out siders cannot understand. he is talking about how we curled a couple of years ago when we curled. that guy talking has the biggest bench in history for a 220 junior. 606lbs. there is a clip of him warming up with 315 on the bench in there as well. the file is called 315x10kyle.avi. he also competes in strong man and just pulled 900lb from just below his knees at his last strong man meet. he is 22 years old.

you got dial up or something bubba? they load for me in about 2 or 3 minutes or less if its not busy. sometimes seconds.

check out milliecurls.avi as well thats him in the background and his girl curling.

pullinbig...did you see the question about warmups? right now i am doing sets of 10 & 8 then doing 2x5 to failure. is this good for warmups of do you suggest something else?

the way i warm up is hit 135 for 10 or so. then 225 for 10 or so. then 315 for 5 or 6. then 405 for 4 or 5. then 495 for 3-5. this is if my worksets are 585 or below. if its more than that i'l hit another warm up for a dbl in between.

for a 315 pull 135 x 10, 185 x 5, 225 x 3, 275 x 1, then you work set/sets. biggest thing is to make sure you stretched properly and then get good and warm before hitting work set with out tiring your self out.

Thats kinda funny isnt it.....What it says under your name pulln ?

pullinbig :
Amateur Bodybuilder ? :)
