Question about ED meds and E2 levels

Does Viagra or Cialis work for you guys if your E2 is too high or too low. Trying to get to the bottom of Why it worked one day, and 4 days later have no effect at all. Just makes no sense to me.

There are some on another board that say, if too low, will not work at all. If too high, will work, but there is a longer delay before its effect happen.

I don't know where my E2 is at. And right now, I don't feel like paying my doctor $100 for a visit. I had insomia last night, and I know that is one sign of high E2.

I can only speak to cialis, but it can overpower E2 that is out of range, but only up to a point. When E2 gets too far out of range either way it doesn't seem to be as effective.

Why not look at my signature and get blood work there? Why wait?

Thanks Meg. I went to the second link, and see that I can get E2 tested for $50. Not too bad. How long does it take?

I just wish there were positive signs for either High or Low E2. My joints are fine, I don't really feel bad, a little tired, but I didn't sleep well last night.

Let me ask you this, I am doing as you suggested, going to taper off of androgel. I did a 100mg injection of Test C this morning, and two pumps of Androgel 1.62. My regular dose of androgel is 4 pumps. Haven't taken adex for 4 days now. Should I take a .25 mg of adex today?

Also, a few months ago, my doctor said I have adrenal fatigue because my DHEA was low. I tried pregnenolone pills for a few months and it didn't seem to help the fatigue. Was thinking of trying the preg cream.

Meg, I am going to have my E2 checked using the second link. I see there is a lab close to my house, I have actually used this lab before. I need to nail this down, it's driving me nuts.

Just to add. I have had my E2 too low and the liquid Cialis works great. But Meg is probably correct, it too far out maybe not. Good luck man.... I love Cialis

I was on 1.25mg a week before starting TRT. Was on a restart type treatment and needed adex to keep naturally high e levels down. Right off the bat after first few test injections and a single HCG injection my nipples went haywire. Dose of adex was upped to 2mg a week for only a single week, which took me way too low. Bad move. Immediately felt the low estrogen, but still had the nipple sides so it wasn't worth it. Since getting the blood draws and confirming how low I went, I have backed off completely for a few days and will start back on adex, but likely at .25 EOD to see where things balance. If low E isn't going to help my gyno/fire nips, then it's not worth having. I can hardly type my wrists (joints) hurt so bad.

To keep on track though - with my E2 high or low, low dose Cialis has always given me the ability.

Wow! Your nips hurt that bad! I have never had sore nips ever, or joint pain that bad. So, maybe my E2 is in the sweet spot. Apparently E2 has nothing to do with libido, night time wood, or effectiveness of ED meds. Strange why it works sometimes, and other times, nothing at all.

I am beginning to think its because of my adrenals being out of whack. I got pregnenolone today and will start this again.

Whether or not to take the adex or when to add it back in is anyone's guess. Changing note than one variable at a time makes stuff like this really hard to manage. If it were me, I would not take any adex again until I had blood work confirming that I had high E2. Injections aromatize less than gels. So if you can pin every 3.5 days you may not even need an AI.

Get things dialed in with the injections before adding in the pref cream. Like I said. It is best to only change one variable at a time.

You got it. Do not be aggressive with AI's. If someone knows what it is like to crash E2, well they'll really think and get labs before going up past .25 ED of Arimidex. Nothing to play with. Good luck man

Sensitive is more accurate but it costs a little more.

I have reduced my adrogel to one pump, because I am doing 100mg of test c every friday. Two weeks so far.

Hey man, I had/have the same issue as you - beat the hell out of my estrogen recently. Like you, I also stopped it for 4 straight days, but now am back on at .25 E3D. The thing is, who knows if my dose is correct now - but its a start. You can't just chase your estrogen around with boners. It will be a never ending battle. Pick a dose, and stick with it for a while, like more than the next expected morning wood.

Anyway - just my thought on it. Even if you can't get blood drawn often, you can atleast pick a sensible dose and let your body has it out for a few weeks. At the rate you are changing things, you will never get a base.
