Question about Estrogen Blockers

Hi,

I'm on 150mg a week and take an estrogen blocker. I'm looking to switch doctors to one in my state. I have been with the out of state one for 5 years. The in state doc has a new practice. He said I don't need a estrogen blocker with that amount of test cyp. If that's the case, why did my other doctor prescribe it?

Do you think it's necessary?

what does your blood work say? thats the real indicator, not simply take this as part of the plan.

Good question. I have to get blood work this week. I'll find out. What is an appropriate level? Meaning, when should an estrogen blocker be introduced?

when you feel like your feet and face are swelling up, when you're very emotional or if the blood shows you're close to 90 or above

You can have higher levels of estrogen and not really know it especially if your have lower body fat percentage.

Your E2 is probably going to look normal or low though since you are taking an Aromatase inhibitor (AI). Keep that in mind when you get your labs. You will need to go off it to see how you respond. I can tell you though that many guys definitely need an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) when on 150mg of test per week. And some don't. Everyone responds differently. Get lab work done and see if you are in the normal range or not. Many guys seem to like having their E2 between 20-30. Others look at the ratio to their TT. And definitely pay attention to whether or not you have symptoms of high or low estrogen.
