Question About Using Expired Steroids

I am just wondering what might be the amplification if any of using some gear that has gone past its expiration date?

I bought some gear about 4 years ago around the time I did my last cycle. I had bought some Deca and some Primobolan.

I have stored the stuff in my fridge the entire time and I am just starting a small cycle with it now.

The Deca says it was made in 2004 and wont expire until late next year in 2009, which is fine. The Primobolan doesn’t have either a specified manufacture date or an expiry date, but it is made by Schering and has something on the side of the bottle which says “Cad. 05.2007”. So I assume that is an expiration date possibly.

I am going to go ahead and use it anyway, because I have stored it in the fridge the entire time and I doubt there is any danger in it, but I guess the issue that once it has gone past its expiration date is that it might not longer be as potent or affective as it was before?

Any thoughts on this would be much appreciated.

your fine. might be a little bit less potent but its good to go. and i wouldnt store gear in the fridge. any dry cool (not refrigerator cool) place is fine

Cheers for that gogetter. Why though do you think the refrigerator is bad and do you think it has been damaged by being in the fridge?

Part of the problem is I live in a country where the temperature is above 90 degrees Fahrenheit all year round with 90% humidity so the fridge is the only cool place I have.

I did notice though when I loaded up a syringe with it this morning that the viscosity of the oil seems to be a bit less (although I am not sure) than when I was using it 4 years ago. Again, not sure that really accounts for anything.

NO! Do not take expired medications. Over time, the chemical compositon changes and is not the same thing it was when it was distributed. You don't know what you're taking if it is expired! You don't know if it is safe. This is why medications direct you not to take expired medications. This applies to all medications, over-the-counter as well as prescriptions.
