Question on legs

I started tumbling this week and all I mostly do is jump and jump and jump practicing form and stunts and after my first practice I am amazed on much of a workout this is for my legs and midsection.
The question I want to ask is will I still get good gains on my legs doing squats and deads one day per week plus tumbling 3 times a week? Or will I start to lose?

what's tumbling ? is it like circuit training ?

It's pretty much floor gymastics am I right? Flips and what not!

Obviously the more work you put in on a muscle group the higher the chance of overtraining a muscle group. I XC mountain bike in the summer and fall a lot and I will tell you now my squat and dead take a hit when I am riding all the time. I just plan my workout around my other physical activities. When i bike a lot in the summer on squat and deads day I focus purely on strength. 5 reps and under and not a ton of sets. I only use a few smaller movements to hit ever muscle group in the posterior chain and I keep the volume low, intensity high and workouts short. Before when I use to just try and do my usual thing I would be fatigued too much both in the gym and while riding. By scaling back on both I was enjoying my gym time more, keeping my strength closer to where I was before summer and I also enjoyed my rides much more.
