So I hear blood work is a good idea pre-post-during cycle. How exactly do u guys get it? Do u just walk into the doctor and say, "umm hey, I'm on a steroid cycle and i need to see my testosterone/estrogen levels," lol ?
I think most of us in the US are using the places Mega has listed in his signature. They've worked out great for me...really fast with the results and reasonably priced.
If your in the US you shouldn't tell your doctor your using AAS.. once it goes on your medical records it's there forever. Can give you troubles with health insurance later on.
Private bloodwork is always best. See Megatrons signature for where to get it if you are in US..
You could either go in and describe feelings of low test and say your concerned... did some googling online and you'd like to know what your TT, LH, FSH etc. is. Occasionally you'll get the odd doctor with a problem that will refuse you certain tests and say you don't need them etc... sometimes you just have to keep trying doctors until you get one that's willing to work with you.
Another one I used once was I told the doc I'm about to embark on a very strict and taxing diet... and I'd like to know all my health is in order before hand (meta-bolic panel, CBC etc.) and measure how much my gonadotropins drop (TT, Free T, LH, etc.) You could say your a med/nutrition/physiology student and the results would interest you. Say whatever you want, it's important to get it
