Question?

I was recently talking to a freind about t3, i have never really heard of it and he told me its a thyroid tab. My dog takes a veterinary Thryo-tab. I was wondering if this is the same thing and if its safe for a human to take?
this is al new to me and it seems stupid to ask but hell who cares
