Ok I am kind of perplexed here maybe some can offer some help. Here is some background information

29yold. Current weight 224, height 5'10. On 100mg of test E e6d, and 250ius of Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) eod. Started T about 9 months ago. At that time I wouldnt say I cleaned up my diet, but got rid of junk food, and did I guess clean up my diet a little bit. Was hoping to lose weight, but really didnt happen. But I can say my weight leveled off and the flucuation problems stopped. Fast forward to October I started working out every week 3 times a week and honed my diet even more, nothing aggresive but I would say a descent diet, but not a diet in the sense of trying to lose weight. But I figured with eating pretty good and working out something would happen and no it didnt. At this time is when I started HCG.

So First of the year I have decided to do the notorious new years resolution. I have for 3 weeks been working out 4 days a week 30mins cardio 30min weights, calorie count is between 1500-1700 calories, and that is pretty clean, usually yogurt for bfast, lunch is salad, tuna, or protein shake, dinner is usually a meat, starch, and vege. I also have one cheat day, which usually means one meal whatever I want. Since starting this I have dropped 4 lbs. Just by going with math on a calorie deficit and working out I should be losing more. My only thought is can the Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) potentially cause high E and then cause water weight gain. I have been drinking tons of water as well, so I dont think the weight I have lost is water weight.

little under 2lbs a weeks is not bad I guess, but my goal weight is 190, and would like to lose about 4lbs a week, I am kind of thinking of going to 1200 calories a day. The uro just did blood work yesterday as well, and may precribed letrozol if the numbers are bad, and maybe thats the problem.

Right now I am more concerned with weight loss, I really dont care about muscle preservation at this point. My goal is/was to drop the first 20-25lbs and at that point ease more into a normal diet and lost the last 10-15lbs slowly at like 2lbs a week.

Some thoughts:

- You could be cutting your calories back too much and putting your body into starvation mode.

- You could be replacing fat with some muscle. Do your clothes fit differently?

- Dropping two pounds a week seems pretty good to me. How much do ypou weigh? Just wondering what 2 pounds is as a percentage.

I think you might be taking in too little calories actually, shifting your body into starvation mode and forcing it to store any and all calories it gets into fat. Try increasing your calories rather by about 200-500 in the form of mostly protein and a lil complex carbs like a protein shake in between meals and high fibre foods.

Also, if you have been eating only 1500kcal for a while now, say 4-8 straight weeks, simply adding a cheat day of about 2500-3500kcal then going back to eating 1500 might just jump start your metabolism and start you up burning fat again.

That's my lil bit of bro knowledge, lol. Hope it all works out for you bro. good luck

currently weigh 224. Like I said I would like to lose about 4 per week, although grand scheme losing 2lbs a week with a target weight loss of 30-35lbs is going to take about 4 months, which isnt terrible. And Im not in a huge hurry. I dont think I am in starvation mode as I am not really that hungary, and sitting at 1500-1700 calories a day cant be to awful bad. But I have noticed by chest and arms bigger so that could be the problem is muscle gain is out pacing weight loss, and I am sure if i did total cardio instead of mixed weights my difference in weight loss might be better.

I am just wondering if the Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) might be causing bloat, if so beyond drinking water, if there could be a solution

if you're getting your carbs from vegetables and your proteins from lean meats and your whey supplements id also say 2 lbs a week is awesome, since you're on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) id measure weight changes with a tape not a scale, your muscle mass may be getting denser

anybody think that doing 500IUS twice a week vs eod might be better as well.

Yes. I use to think EOD was the same but it is not. Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) causes the testicles to go into a refractory period for 72 hours after Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) injection. During this refractory period the leydig cells can not be stimulated. Once that 72 hours is up they will produce another lower pulse of testosterone from the original shot. Because of this Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) should be taken every 3 to 4 days.

I think smokinator is on the right track with a refeed day.

It seemed to work well with me when my fat loss was starting to dip, tried it after a mate of mine suggested it but I'm sure about the exact science behind it. Something to do with that reefed speeding your metabolism up again, I'll read a lil more about it again... Also does wonders for a psychological boost:D

thanks thats what I might go to then. I actually stopped all together last wednesday and going to stop through this week to see if my theory that the HCG was holding water weight was true.
