Whats up, men
I just got numbers from Labcorp on TT
A little about me:
6 ft, 240 lbs ....and 52 yrs old
Pretty active in the gym about 4 times a week with heavy compound lifts and cardio 3 days a week for about 30 minutes....(fat burn)
About 2 years ago, I noticed lack of energy, low libido....loss of focus...etc
These symptoms were very subtle and I never really paid much attention to it until recently.
What I did notice was that I was spinning my wheels in the gym even with diet dialed in tight. Over the last 18 months, I lost 65 lbs and counting. I just wasnt seeing the gains....minimal at best. My macros are on point with an occasional cab refeed.
Last month i seen my GP and I asked for bloodwork for shits and giggles...just for piece of mind
It was a generic test to see wher my test levels were....It came back at 174ng/dl....mind you this was taken around 2:30 in the afternoon
He sent me to an Endo and he ordered a more thoruogh test. Here it is

Test Low Normal High Reference Range Units
triiodothyronine,free,serum 2.6 2.0-4.4 pg/mL
vitamin d, 25-hydroxy
Test Low Normal High Reference Range Units
vitamin d, 25-hydroxy 32.4 30.0-100.0 ng/mL
tsh
Test Low Normal High Reference Range Units
tsh 2.940 0.450-4.500 uIU/mL
thyroxine (t4) free, direct, s
Test Low Normal High Reference Range Units
t4,free(direct) 1.30 0.82-1.77 ng/dL
My question is....do i still have an option for TRT? Because i feel like dog shit by mid afternoon most days and I force myself to hit the gym to keep my sanity. Depression is subtle, but evident. Sex drive is ok, but i rarely have morning wood.
I think with these numbers my chances are slim even for my age
Whats your take guys?
