Quick question about Cardio

Im on IF and since i work out in the morning @5:30am, i lift fasted w/ exception of some BCAAs and protein before heading out to the gym.

Never really done cardio, but looking to add it in. Do i do it before lifting weights, or after?

Arguments ive heard, doing before lifting workouts = serve as warm up

Doing it after lifting weights = body enters catabolic state after doing cardio, hence could "mess" with muscle mass gains meant to be gained through weight lifting.

Your take? Im leaning towards doing it after as i dont want to expend the little energy i have in the morning on cardio instead of lifts

Also i'd be doing not exactly HIIT, but it will definitely be intense cardio w/ sprints and etc.

I've always done it after a work out. If your going to do intense stuff, you'll burn yourself out. I think
