Raw eggs/egg whites

About nine months ago I tried eating raw eggs. Three times a day I would eat 6 eggs, for a total of 18 per day. It was fuggin' sweet I gained a decent amount of weight fairly quickly, at the time it seemed that egg protein worked way better than protein powder. 4 weeks I woke up vommiting heavily. I continued to vommit and shake/shiver for about one and a half weeks. Bar none it was the sickest that I have ever been.

Anyways... My question is

Do any of you eat raw whole eggs?

Do anyof you eat the egg whites that are pasturized in cartons?(I think that they are called Naturegg Simply Egg Whites)

Lastly do any of you feel that it is safe or unsafe to eat raw egg whites?

In sweden we do not have any problem with salmonella in eggs so it is safe here I don´t know about canada though. I usually eat ~10 raw egg whites a day in my protein shakes. I have done it for the past couple of years and I have not had any problem.
 
I use the pasteurized egg whites myself but I don't eat them raw. I think I'd gag....lol
 
i think in lots of countries they do like this sterilization ray thing that wipes out the samonilla, but i dont think they do that in the states, cuz most people dont eat raw eggs. if you can find organic eggs i think most of those are samonilla free
