2 min between compounds' (excluding DL) sets
1 min between isolations' sets


3 min between deadlift sets


good starting point for bulking (5-8 rep range) ?

depends on conditioning. experiment , if 3 minutes doesnt give full recovery and allow maxx weigh lifted add time , adjust as necessary.
 
I have read and subscribe to the theory that you should only rest enough to enable you to perform your next set.

That means it changes as my workout progresses. Somedays that means (for me), i only rest 30-45 secs between sets. As i grow tired...i might need 1-1.5 mins per set. As the weight goes up....i might need longer (2mins).

Also depends on the intensity i want to achieve. Less rest...more intensity.
