Reverse dieting while on cycle

Been on cycle for the past 8 weeks and decided to cut at the start before lean bullking.
Should I reverse diet back to maintenance then start eating in a surplus, or is it ok to go from a calorie deficit straight to maintenance?
Don't want to gain fat but at the same time I dont want to waste 4 weeks reverse dieting if its not necessary.
Cycle is test prop, tren a

Thanks.

Hey mate, yes revert back to maintenance, then every week add in 200 or so calories and assess from there :)P

Or step it up and carb cycle after you have gone to maint levels

I'm starting my bulk with a carb cycle ... it's very very low and will bump slow, but, I backload on nights I don't eat post workout carbs and the next day would be a heavy lift day which I lift fasted (BCAA shake) and then hit post workout carbs ... I've been on a virtually no carb/carb refeed maintainance diet for the last year so re-introducing carbs now that I'm bulking and using gear for first time is my biggest sticking point rt now

Thanks guys,

So should I go straight back to maintenance calories or step it up each week until I hit maintenance and then increase slowly from there?
I will have to add 1000 calories extra to hit maintenance.

I personally wouldn't add 1Kcals a day at once, but then again I try to stay around 7-8% when bulking so I go slow ... others have great success boosting 500-1000cals at once in combo with gear, clean foods, and hardcore training and be fine, so, listen to ur body and do what's most comfortable
