Rice question

My rice says 1 cup of dried rice yields 3 cups finished rice, and one serving is 1/4 cup. Does this mean 1/4 cup of dried rice or finished rice??

I would usually think finished rice but I can't see them calling 1/4 cup one serving.

I'd have to go with the dry 1/4 cup.

It should say that on the box though. What brand is it?

It says home harvest on the bag, the bag is green and clear.
