Rookie Cycle

Hey guys, newbie here. I've never had much interest in heavy lifting but now I'm at a point where I really want to get big. I have always been very active with sports my whole life (recreational leagues)
I'm 6'00" 185 lbs. 8-10% bf% 21 yrs old.

I've been doing quite a bit of research into running a cycle but I have some questions....I am thinking about running a Testosterone enanthate Cycle (test E) for 12 weeks. I'm not sure if I will run any other compounds with this first cycle, since I've read that it is not wise to run too many compounds at once during my first cycle...
soooo, so far I'm only going to run a test E cycle for 12 weeks. But my question is, should I run it at 500mgs/wk or can I go a bit higher, to like 600mgs a week? Will 100mgs/wk make much of a difference? Based on how much test E I have, I want to make the most of it during the 12 week cycle, and want to make sure I use all of it during the cycle, which would equate to 600mgs/wk. But is 600mgs/wk too much for a first cycle? Most guys on here seem to stick with 500mgs of test E for their first cycle.
Sorry for the newbie ramble..
All thoughts and any help would be appreciated!

600mg's per week of test e on it's own is fine for your first cycle... the reason 500mg's is mentioned so often is because many test e's are dosed at 250mg/ml so it makes it easy to just inject exactly 2ml's per week, keeps it simple

hope u have a proper PCT planned with clomid and nolvadex, get those ready before u begin... have everything prepared...

then just train hard, eat lots and get enough rest... will be a nice run, enjoy

I second China wall's suggestion, what I would also recommend is an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) just in case always better safe than sorry, also hope you're not running on the common misconception that AAS is some sort of miracle drug and keep in mind that your diet STILL remains your main priority, you have to eat to grow!

Any daily macro examples you can provide? I'd just like a tasts as to what your diet consists of...

at 21 years old I would hold off. I wanted to jump into aas at that age and now at 26 im glad I didnt do it. I would wait until at least 25.

In the mean time spend some time here reading as much as you can about training and diet and gaining naturally. At your age and weight you can still probably put some good size naturally. When you really feel like you cant grow more naturally, thats when you resort to aas.

thanks, I've been reading more into PCT & Ive researched enough to know that Tamoxifen and Nolvadex are the same thing. I'm working on getting it all together, so I don't have any problems during the cycle or afterwards.

I ran 600mg a week of ey first cycle 12 weeks it worked wonders stick with one test the first time around see how your body reacts

Great advice.
what is the main difference between nolvadex and an aromatase inhibitor like letrozole? It seems that some people are running nolvadex during their cycle and then running it as well in PCT..
which is better to have on hand during a cycle? Nolvadex or Letrozole?

At 21 years old, I would consider holding off as well. At least a few more years. HOWEVER, I started my first cycle at 21, so who the hell am I to judge. It certainly sounds like you know what you're doing.....BUT don't let that go to your head. Research Research Research..and listen to the GREAT advice already given here.........EAT TO GROW
