RUI liquid Stane - in the fridge or not?

Hey all:

Stocked up on RUI's liquid Stane during the big sale and have no current need for it at the present. Should I keep it in the fridge or a cool dark place out of sunlight?

Nearly all liquid compounds store longer in the fridge because heat acts as a catalyst in breaking them down, same with light.

I received my liquid stane in the mail 2 or 3 weeks ago and have just stored it in my room... Do I need to refrigerate it even before I open it, or only after?

You don't HAVE to refrigerate it at all, it will increase the shelf life. You can be guaranteed that your supplier didn't have it sitting in a refrigerator before he shipped it to you. I keep all my compounds in the fridge, opened or unopened... besides my oils.

No, if kept in room temperature and out of direct sunlight i believe the shelf life is 1-2 years. Refrigerating prolongs the shelf life, as others have already noted. It is a good practice, but not needed if your taking your chems right away.
