Weight ***8211; 172 even..

Well, I***8217;m not 100%, but I just couldn***8217;t take another day off from the gym. Despite the fact that I had to get up an extra hour early this morning due to daylight saving time, I still wanted to get in there & get something done.

I went in this morning & knocked out shoulders & back. Knowing that I***8217;m still somewhat ill, I knew running wasn***8217;t the best idea. I didn***8217;t kill myself in there w/ the iron, but I also didn***8217;t pussy foot around either! I took 6 N2-Amp & was wide open by the time I got in there! Strength felt a little down from being sick, but I still got in some good quality resistance training. I***8217;m sure I***8217;ll be feeling it all tomorrow though! Especially in the traps!

I***8217;m going to try & get plenty of rest tonight & get a run in tomorrow before work. I think it might be warm enough outside where I can run the roads. I need to get me a reflective vest! Running @ 4am in Baton Rouge can be dangerous, lol.. The drivers down here suck!!
 
Get some rest!! Listen to your body my friend. It will thank you later and respond well when you hit the gym at 100%.
 
That's pretty much what I did this morning. Got up & took some Jack3d. Shortly after that, as I was walking around the house, Inrealized that my sinuses are so jacked up that I'm somewhat dizzy. So, I decided against any running this morning. Had plenty of extra time on my hands so I made a 6 egg omlette! Lol. I got to work all amped up & ready to roll. None of my co-workers understand me & the energy I bring to our shift.

As for how I'm feeling, really nothing to report yet. No vision sides yet, so that's cool. Thankfully, this is a long cycle, so I can get back at it & still have plenty of S-4 left. I've gotten myself used to the taste, so dosing it is no longer an issue.
 
I had to do some cleanup around the plant today. Picked up a bunch of heavy 3" pipe. By the time I was done, my whole body felt very full & tight. Loved it!! Can't wait to get in the gym tomorrow morning!!!!

S-4, Day 7

Weight - 173.. Hmmm, I even ate clean last night! Must be the lack of cardio these past few days.

As I mentioned yesterday, I was hella stoked to get back in the gym & tear things up!! I got up this morning & was eager to get in there, even before drinking my preworkout drink! About 45 minutes after waking, I walked into the gym focused on hitting arms from all angles..

Despite the lack of weights, I still felt strong as ever this morning. This only made me push that much harder on all exercises. I'm pretty sure this is the first time I've actually worn myself out working arms. They're still feeling pretty tight/full even though I'm in keto mode.

Now, 7 full days into it, I'm diggin the fact that I'm still seeing clearly. Lol.. Everything else seems to be working as needed too. No loss or elevation in libido, no extra energy or drowsiness, sleeping fine at night, and overall mood feels just fine. I'm definitely looking forward to this in the next couple of weeks!

S-4, Day 9

weight - 170! Muahahaha!! The cut is going precisely according to plan!

What plan?? The cutting/recomp plan! I'm leaning out, but maintaining size, if not gaining! My lifts are getting right back where they were a while back, and I'm seeing a nice difference in the mirror at the same time!!

Sorry I didn't update yesterday, I've been off these past two day & I'm trying to jam 5 days worth of projects around the house into these two days off...

I got up yesterday @ 5 to hit the gym, hoping to hit chest & back and a few miles in the treadmill. Well, sitting on the couch, I reached over to put my socks on & BAM!!! I pulled my lower back.. I've been dealing w/ back issues for the last 15-20 years. It didn't help that I had to dig 15 post holes & then set the posts in concrete... Yeah, I know.. Glutton for punishment. Needless to say, I didn't run, but I damn sure did hit chest & back like no other! No pr's to speak of, but the overall workout was intense and I think I may have gotten more reps on some lifts.

This morning, I decided to rest my back one more day & hit shoulders. They're feeling it big time right now, especially my traps. I think I may have gone overboard on the abs too, cuz they're pretty sore right now. I finished the workout w/ 30 min on the bike w/a HIIT workout.

I think this stuff is starting to kick in. I'm feeling great throughout the day, especially at the gym. I guess you could call it that alpha feeling in the gym. I've even gotten back into the wife beaters! lol.. I'm thinking I'll be hitting some pr's w/in the next week or so. The workouts are going great!! Outside the gym, it's business as usual. Libido still seems to be about the same, so that's cool. I think I'm starting to experience some vision sides though. Not the yellow vision, but the adapting from bright sunlight outside, to the darker rooms inside. It seems like it's taking much longer to adjust to the inside after spending just a short amount of time outside. This has caused me to look for darker sunglasses to help w/ the adjustment coming inside.. No biggie, really. I can deal w/ that..

I went & got some new running shoes today, so tomorrow, I'm going to try & put 5 miles on them.

As you can see, I'm in serious cutting mode right now! It's definitely working well. Calories are way down, and the carbs are extremely low. I'm feeling great through this all too! I hate dieting, and especially giving up my IPA's, but I just got tired of being to heavy around the gut.

I took the day off from the gym today & got out on the roads & felt great!! I took a 3 hour nap today, got up @ 2:30 & by 3pm I was out on the roads running. We're lucky down here in the South & finally have spring weather. Today we were 70 & sunny. Here's what I did on the run today:

Tomorrow, I'll be hitting arms. Not sure if it'll be when I get off shift in the morning, or if I'll do it tomorrow afternoon when I wake up. Either way, they're about to get tore up!!

Still no yellow vision, but still having the light adjustment issues. Other than that, all is well!!
 
S-4, Day 12

Not a whole lot to update these past two days. I***8217;m on nights this weekend & getting minimal sleep. Woke up yesterday in a bad mood for some reason. I***8217;m NEVER in a bad mood***8230; Went to the gym before going to work last night & my mood affected my workout. I just wasn***8217;t feeling it***8230; Worked last night & got maybe an hour nap. Now, today, my arms are feeling it big time! Feeling tight, pumped, and very vascular.. Interesting***8230;

Got off shift this morning & decided to hit the treadmill to burn a few more calories before hitting the sack. I wanted to run the roads, but it was raining & I thought it was supposed to rain all day.. Anyway, I was running at an 8 minute pace feeling zero exhaustion! It***8217;s like my lungs were bottomless! I was breathing through my nose for a good portion of the run too! I***8217;ve never had endurance like that for any type of cardio! I was actually laughing at myself and my pace. I shut it down after 2.5 miles cuz my knees & lower back were throbbing.. I got off the treadmill & got another 2.5 miles on the bike.. Again, very interesting this endurance I had this morning. Especially on no sleep!! WTF!!??? I got home all full of the adrenalin & told the wife to get her & the kids dressed so we could hit 9:45 mass. After that, the sun came out & it was a beautiful day! Wish I would***8217;ve ran later, I could have gone straight home & slept for at least 3 hours.. Ended up staying awake the rest of the day watching my Wolverine***8217;s get their butts whipped by the friggin Spartans..

I***8217;m going to the Dr on my way home tomorrow to have him look at my knees.. They***8217;re hurting somethin***8217; terrible, to the point of I***8217;m walking w/ a bad limp.. I***8217;ll probably nap after that & then hit the weights.

Got a question on my diet. My routine is cardio one day, & weights the next. I***8217;ve been trying to cut, bordering on the keto diet. With the training I***8217;m doing, should I, or would it hurt my cut, if I threw in a few more carbs? If so, they***8217;d be all complex carbs (oatmeal, sweet potato***8217;s & brown rice). Or, just keep w/ the keto & throw in some more BCAA***8217;s to lean out even more? Anybody?
 
Sorry about all the wierd numbers in my updates. I tpye it all on a work computer, email it to myself (phone), then copy & paste it. Not sure why it does this.

Weight; 170 Creeping back up slowly, but its all good

Yes, it is all good! Vision sides seem to have subsided a little. Spent the entire day outside yesterday working around the house. Didn't;t quite experience the same adjustment issues that I have been. The other good part? I ran 5 miles yesterday & felt great!! The other good part? I looked at my body in the mirror last night, & it***8217;s literally transforming right before my eyes!!! I***8217;m looking leaner and more muscular than ever before!! Perfect timing too! Going to the beach in about 2 more weeks, & I***8217;ll be looking better than ever!!!

The strength still seems to be about the same. Maybe a little better, but this morning***8217;s shoulder workout didn***8217;t have any pr***8217;s. I think the recovery between sets seems improved, and I***8217;m getting more volume in each workout. I definitely didn***8217;t want to leave the gym this morning. My whole body feels nice & tight right now.

I tell ya what, I ain***8217;t gonna lie ***8211; we live in a vein society. I want to look good when I hit the beach this summer. Who doesn***8217;t??? If my strength only goes up minimally during this run, but my physique continues to improve, I***8217;m a very satisfied customer!!!

Cardio tomorrow morning. Might do some HIIT, getting in & out of the gym early enough to get a hair cut before coming into work.

S-4, Day 17

Weight N/A (forgot to weigh in this morning)

Well, yesterday was cardio/ab day, so I thought I'd save some time & do some HIIT on the treadmill; Bad idea. I've got some raging shin splints today! Walking around at work all day today is a chore, especially in these big ol work boots I have to wear.. I wanted to run this morning again, due to eating too much mexican last night @ the restaurant. They make their own tortilla's & they're freaking awesome! I ate 4 fajita's & was stuffed the rest of the night..

So, due to the sore shins, I opted to do arms and a light leg workout. I've been taking it very easy on the legs because of the sore knees, and the pain that usually follows leg day would slow down my training for the 10k. I'm keeping the shape and definition in them, but not hitting them so heavy that it'll cripple me either. Tomorrow's supposed to be a long run day for me. I'm really hoping my shins are feeling up to it. I might put some cold packs on them tonight when I get home from work.

Still feeling great on this run. I'm constantly checking myself out in the mirror now that I'm getting my "lean" back. I sent a pic to a couple of my brothers & one of them asked if I was juicin!! Gotta love it! He's the one I'll be meeting @ the beach in a couple of weeks. He's been hibernating up there in Michigan while I'm down here in the south getting sun burned!! He last saw me in November when I was very soft w/ no definition.

Being on a caloric deficit, I think my strength is still holding steady. I haven't gained the strength I thought I would, but I'm eating a bare minimum right now, trying to cut down even more. My initial goal was 165, but now that I'm so close, I'm thinking I may try for 160.
