S-4, Day 21

Weight – 168 Damnit, did I plateau??? Lol, no worries.

Sorry about the lack of updates, I haven’t had a day off since last Tuesday, & the last couple of days were absolute chaos here @ work.

The weight room has been going great! Like I mentioned before, even though I’m in a caloric deficit, I’m still feeling great in the gym! The strength increase isn’t quite coming like I expected, but after I thought about it, I’m not necessarily feeding the machine to help it get stronger. I am, however, getting harder and more vascular! I’m starting to see a little bit of veins in the front delts. Haven’t seen those in years!!! I say I’m not getting stronger, but at the same time, I noticed the other day when hitting back that I knocked out more dead hang pull ups than I’ve done in a very long time! Lats are feeling nice & full two days later!

The running side of things is going ok… The endurance & stamina is definitely there, but damn, it hurts.. lol.. This getting old stuff sucks!! My knees & back have been a limiting factor this past week. Tomorrow’s supposed to be my running day. I’m thinking of resting my body & either just taking the whole day off (haven’t had a day off in about 2 weeks), or just ride the bike. I’ve just been so addicted to getting these results that it keeps me going like a man on a mission! I’m determined to see my abs and kick some ass in that 10k next month!!

The vision adjustment has gotten a little more extreme. I went outside this afternoon (not a cloud in the sky), to water the plants. Being out in the sun doesn’t bother me at all. It’s when I come back inside. Getting used to the darker room takes forever! The things we do on a quest for that perfect body, eh?? Lol.. Other than that, everything is still good to go.
 
S-4, Day 24

Weight; 167!! Peeling the layers back!

Cut in full effect!! I'm really diggin this routine I'm on right now. My body's responding well to the training. I think taking the other day off helped me too. I definitely don't need to wear myself too thin & end up getting sick!

The last two days, I was off work. I'm glad to be back today so I can get some rest!! Way too busy on my days off, but aren't we all?? Especially w/ the warmer weather coming.

I went in yesterday & hit arms & felt like a machine! My arms felt like concrete! The veins are all over the place and strength bumped up a little bit!!

This morning, I got in the gym @ 0345. I hit 15 minutes of abs, followed by a 5 mile run @ a 10 min pace. My lower back was binding up pretty bad, but I just kept on pushing through. Now, 7 hours later, it's feeling fine. My thighs are a little tight, but it's cool.

Someone's working for me tomorrow, so I'm probably going to sleep in a little & catch up on some needed rest. I'll eventually get into the gym to blast lats & pecs. Might get some more progress pics up, cuz I'm still seeing changes in my physique!!

If I order a bottle of s4 now, get in a week I'm assuming, but start using it in August or so, will it still work?
 
S-4, Day 26

Weight 168

I'm holding steady all the way around. I hit back & chest yesterday morning and felt awesome. Strength seemed up a little. I did 10x10 on the incline presses & felt good all the way through. For back, I hit about 4 sets of dead hangs and felt better than ever. As the workout progressed, that alpha feeling came on, & I didn't want to leave the gym. Getting up this morning, I can honestly say that I'm still seeing improvements in the mirror. Not huge, but a little here & a little there. I'll take it!

This morning, I decided to stay w/ the weights one more day and hit legs. For my leg routine, I always keep the reps high. For my working sets of squats, I do 5x25. This helps alleviate the lower back problems, and I think my legs just respond better to it. This morning, after those sets, I was spent. Normally, I'll follow up w/ 4-5 sets of leg presses, but I decided that I had done plenty and was also a little pressed for time. Here's a shot of the chicken legs this morning after the damage was done.

Still no yellow vision, but still dealing w/ the bright sunlight. It's also bright lights when driving at night. I tinted the front two windows on my truck yesterday & noticed a nice bit of relief while driving.
 
Holy shit, those thighs. Can you please tell us if the s-4 shut down your natural test once you've completed the cycle?
 
Lol, thanks dude. Actually, it's wierd. One day, I'll feel a little shut down, the next, I'm back to feeling normal. Was thinking of throwing some DAA in the mix.
 
S-4, Day 28

Weight - 169 WTF?? Interesting. I take a few days off from running & hit more weights & up goes the lbs..

Like I said above, I've given my body a break from the jogging & hit the weights three days in a row. As I saw this morning, it definitely has it's pro's & con's.. When I got up this morning, after I weighed in & noticed the number, I turned around & looked in the mirror. What I saw was a fuller body. Maybe just a tad bit softer than previously, but a slight increase in overall size. It's all good. I hit arms yesterday and when I was done, they looked bigger than they ever have! I wish my work uniform was a short sleeve shirt to show off these friggin guns!! Lol.. Just overall, all around, I'm looking thicker. I love it! The other pro's, I noticed this morning when I got back on the treadmill.. I ran about 3.5 miles w/ a consistent 8.45 minute pace! I felt great! Well, at least my lungs did. My left knee hurt for part of the run. My lower back did better too. I was freaking soaked after that run! I had a good techno mix pumping in the headphones & felt like I could've gone longer, but had to get ready for work.

I'm hitting the beach this weekend. Thinking of going zero carbs till Friday afternoon & then hit some complex carbs to swell up! Lol..

This S-4 is the shit!!

S-4, Day 34

weight - 168

Sorry about the lack of updates, I've been busy w/ honey-do's all weekend, and last week was just a mess.. Don't worry, the workout's didn't falter one bit!! I've stuck w/ the running every other day and weights and have felt great all the way through!!

The other day, I managed to get a 3 mile jog finished in 22 minutes!! For me, that's an old Marine Corps time!! I haven't run that fast in about 20 freaking years!! I think this S-4 might be the fountain of youth!! lol.. The weight room sessions have been a blast. The strength is just a tad better, but I've also increased volume and reps, so it's all a wash.. The proof is in the pudding though! Here's a few shots from the last few days.

S-4, Day 36

Weight - 166!! Getting leaner still!!!

Just a short & sweet update: The workouts are still stellar! I hit back & chest this morning & felt like a monster, even though the workout was stimulant free! I had to nap during the day so I could work my night shift tonight, so I couldn't take any stims.. Not fun, but I managed. I took agmatine & citrulline malate & still had an impressive workout. I noticed my bench has gone up a little, along w/ the sets & reps. That's been the beauty of this run. Strength is going up, but it's nice & slow/steady, so as not to hurt any tendons. The jogging has improved as well! Yesterdays 4 mile run was effortless, w/ the exception of both my calves knotting up. I think I probably should've drank a little more water the night before.

I'm working nights from tonight through the weekend. I'll probably be putting a little more time in the running for the next week or so due to my 10k race coming up next Sat. I know I'll be showing up there looking leaner/more defined than I have in years!! Hoping it's warm enough to dress down to show off my hard work! Lol..
 
Thanks dude! It really has been a helluva run! Sad to see it's almost gone!! Just when I'm finally used to the vision sides! Lol.
 
S-4, Day 40

Weight - n/a

Uggghhh, what a weekend it's been.. This working 2 jobs and trying to run this weekend has caught up to me.. I've been on nights since Wed & I definitely didn't rest myself enough while at home.. I do get rest here @ work, but it's not quality type rest. I get off tomorrow morning & it's supposed to rain/storm all day. Guess it'll be a perfect day for me to catch up on some sleep!

My runs have been going great. I'm continuing to push myself on each run, getting myself down in the 8 minute mile mark. I'm thinking I'll be sub 10 for the 10k. The area I run has some beautiful homes, but nasty dogs!! I was chased 4x on Friday by a bunch of different dogs! I think next time I go out there, I'll either have a can of mase or my boy's Louisville Slugger t-ball bat.. Stupid dogs messed up my pace!

After next weekend's race, I'm going to change my training style a little. I'm going to get away from the steady state cardio & start more of the interval training. I'm just not getting as lean as I'd like and I'm keeping my calories way low. That's where this S-4 has really helped me though. The muscle hardness and size is still there despite the lack of food.

If I don't sleep too much today, I'd going to try & hit the gym for some weights. It's been a while since I've lifted & it's killing me not to lift!! More updates later!
