Now we all know about post workout shakes after training and what to put in them (2:1 ratio of carbs and protein yada yada.).

But what about whole-food meals about an hour later? what are your preferences guys?

in a recent issue of flex i read an article claiming that because of the frenzied state ur body is in after training, it is the best time consume all types of fats...even animal (saturated) fats and they wont get stored as body fat!!! Can someone tell me if this is true? (detailed answers if possible)

i think i may have taken this too far....i just finished training and keeping this theory in mind i went and ate 11 pieces of KFC chicken. bad? i think so.

P.S im suppose to be cutting!

Just have a good meal consisting of a lean protein source and both complex and fibrous carbs. By complex I mean bread, pasta, etc. And by fibrous I mean lettuce, spinach, string beans, etc.

I would think if you ate fat, then your body would burn that preferentially over bodyfat. Not good for cutting.

Yes, it was bad to eat the KFC. That is the worst kind of fat you can possibly eat. Smack yourself for that one! :D

Eat your GOOD fat some other time.
