scrip screwed up!!!....errrr dr.'s

ok...so the Dr. up'd me to 2ml a week.... and wrote the scrip with (Cypionate 2ml) in name....but 1ml in the dose.....the wife was asked'ing for generic and CVS did not have any....so they sent her to another Pham. they would not fill generic so I ended up with 4ea. 1ml bottles......for $50 bucks!!!!......

before I was doing 1ml shots and would get a 10ml bottle that would last me 2 1/2 months for $50!!!!


I used 1/2 my months scrip tonight for my shot!!!!!....25 bucks worth!!!!......can't hang with that!

You do realize you could have had the pharmacy call it in and have your doctor's office fix this before you paid a penny, right...? By the way, you will pay far less by going through costco's online pharmacy. It's like 60 bucks for a 10mL vial whereas everyone else charges an arm and a leg. 1mL vials are a rip off and I don't know why they're even carried except to rip us off. Kills me. I'd call your doc and let them know about the goof up and ask if you can get a script for the remainder in a 10mL vial as the cost of having him write up 9 more 1mL vials is just crazy.

You got a doctor to prescribe 400mg per week? Mind if I ask how? And your wife picks up the prescription? You must be very persuasive!

@halwit....Yes I know....I have text the nurse already....hopefully we can fix it tomorrow....still feel like I will get the shaft on what I have....Costco has good prices?

Ok, I thought standard was 200mg/ml, so 2ml=400mg... BTW Congrats - our 25 is this year too (December)!

did not know till today that there were 2 strengths to Depo Test.....100 and 200

I believe it is correct that the scrip is correct in that it has 200MG in the name....and it is only 1ML shot a week.....I was taking 1ml of the 100mg Depo Test....and this is 200mg.....soooooo I guess that would be correct.

I just need to talk to them about getting these pissy 1ml bottle.....4 for the month cost me $50 bucks......before I was doing 1ml out of a 10ML bottle....same co pay....but it lasted me 2.5 months!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Costco has the best prices I've seen so far. I've tried Walgreens/Walmart/CVS/Fry's/Save-mor/Payless and have yet to see one that can match Costco. They do mail to you if you don't wish to drive to/have one nearby - which I find nice.

Yeah, sounds like you have a similar insurance as I do. It's silly that the cost of 10-1mL vials is like 400 dollars, but 1-10mL vial is 60-90 dollars. It's so silly.
