Serious question about a bad injection.

OK….. I am in the third week of my cycle. This past Sunday I injected in my glute. I am running injections Sunday and Thursday. I injected high on my glute but I think that I was too close inside. Monday I had severe swelling and pain that ran a little into my lower back on the side I shot on. I could feel that my pants were tight on the side that hurt. Sitting was a bitch. I had a temp so I took some penicillin I keep on hand.

Fucker still hurts till this day and I have a fucking knot. The pain and swelling has subsided a lot but FUCK! Old school IP shit is nothing compared to this pain. I can deal with local pain and swelling at the injection site but damn. Could I have hit a nerve? I felt nothing the night I shot. Anyone experience anything like this? Totally fucking up my cycle.

well go to the Doctor!if you got pain swelling temp its prob infected!the last thing you want is an abcess bro,your health is important and not something you should skimp on.

Is the site red and warm to the touch? If so it may be an abscess, in which case you'd want to go to a dr.

No not red and warm. Just swelled and very sore. Pretty wierd because nothing had happen to me from my previous injections from the same stuff. That is why I am wondering if I fucked up a nerve but wouldn't I feel that right away?

You probably didn't hit a nerve, but rather just a bad spot. When you got the swelling, it may have compressed a nerve, which explains the delayed radiating pain. From your description, I don't think you have an abcess. When you have an abcess, the pain will not diminish, but rather get worse with time.

I agree with Dr.X use some anti-inflamatory meds as well.
