Hey I heard from an unreliable source that if your protein sits in water for more than a hour that it loses its nutritional value. Is this true because i really like half way freezing my shake b4 drinking it!! Thanks
I could be way off but i don't think so. I heard with creatine that after 5 minutes in liquid the same thing happens. But i've heard now that that is not the case. I can't see you losing the nutrition from the protein after letting it sit for an hour. But like i said i could be wrong.
Protein doesn't denurture during the cold, only in hot temperature will it decrease in its potency. It may have other effects on the protein such as perhaps blocking its breakdown because it is frozen. That was just a guess.
