shelflife for HCG----------------

Does anyone know what the shelflife for HCG is after it has been diluted? It is stored in refrigerator. Thanks

Conventional wisdom says 30-60 days. I use mine within 30 days of mixing, so can't comment on loss of efficacy outside that window.

Hello,

There has been a lot of hearsay on hCG shelf life. I have yet to see an study on the denaturation rate of it. Personally I mix the hCG and then preload the dose in my insulin syringes and then put the syringes in the freezer. Once I need to use them, run some warm water over the barrel for 30 secs and you are good to go. I have used hCG stored in the freezer for well over ninety days. I have read some articles about if freezing it and thawing it can damage the delicate proteins and although they did five freeze-thaw cyclones it wasn't a significant difference.

Rest assured just refrigerating it for up to 10 weeks is fine as well, I haven't felt any different with the potency.

I wish there was more information about this topic however I haven't come across it.

I've heard from someone knowledgeable on the matter that after +/- 30days it begins to lose potency at around 10% per month. I'm not sure where the figures came from but does this ring a bell with you Daniel?

I have heard a lot but haven't seen any data, which is what I like to use if trying to inform. :)

My view on hCG storage/potency:
I use mine up to 10 weeks, refrigerated or by freezing the single dosed syringes and thawing before injection! Freezing would really let you use the hCG well over 3-4 months*

No citation, just an educated guess :)

Pharmacologically, a drug will not denature at a 10% rate/30days(or any interval) that is not how the curves appear in literature. Maybe he used that to keep it simple, but if he had information to back it up he would have probably referred to a study or some empirical evidence.

It vary well could be he kept it simple or just was rounding/estimating etc.

I'm not a TRT patent so I'll respect the fact it's the TRT forum, I just was curious bc I plan to use HCG and wanted to know if these numbers have merit. Thank you for the response!

Most likely! It is a good topic though and trust me I have search far and wide for any data regarding this.

As stated, I would follow the general guidelines laid down, freeze single dosed syringes if weary about potency!

I will definitely do that. So basically as soon as you reconstitute it you divvy it up into your desired dose and freeze them all. Pull out a pin when needed and let it thaw under warm water. Sounds simple enough.
