I am just starting week 3 of my cycle and I am starting to see strength increases, muscles tightening, etc. I'm kind of a natural fatty (19%bf) despite having a clean, good diet. I hopped on the scale yesterday and I have put on 8 pounds since I started 2 weeks ago. I am definitely carrying a little more around my moobs and face, but am not sure if it's water or fat. As I am on the higher dose of Arimidex, I assume I shouldn't be bloating this badly.

My question: Is 8 pounds in the first two weeks while on an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) a sign of too many calories? Should I just shut the fuck up and wait until the Test kicks in during weeks 3 and 4?

What is your goal? 2500 calories seems awfully low to me. That's what I eat to Cut and I'm 5'10".

I'm hoping to put on 15 pounds and keep 10 of it, minimum. As you can understand, already putting on half of that was shocking. My metabolism is generally slow even though I eat clean 6x/day. I'm one of those people that exercise and eat right just to not get fatter, hence me running a cycle :)

post a sample diet so I know where you're coming from in terms of macros etc... Is this your first cycle? A 10 weeks cycle should yield more than a 15 pounds gain so I say shoot higher. Also, what's your training history like?

This is my first cycle, so I would love to shoot for higher!

I've been training for 7 years (hard 3 years). One of my parents is a kettle bell trainer, so I have good form, lifting discipline, etc. Here's a sample of my week:

M- Chest, tris
t- upper Back, Bis
w- Legs
Th- off
Fri- Shoulders (its own day bc my toughest to build)
Sat- Cardio AM, Core (abs, obliques, lower back) PM
Sun-off

My Diet Sample is as follows:
8:30a- 50g Whey+casein protein, banana
10a- Low fat cottage cheese + Kale
12noon- 3 egg whites+ Chicken Breast
2p- Beef Jerky, Almonds, yogurt
4p- (pre-workout) spinach, ground turkey, fruit
Workout
6:30p- Post workout shake (40g pro, 30g Carbs)
7:30p- Salmon, Sweet potatoes, green beans.

thanks for posting. I've got some suggestions but would like to know what your goals are first. Are you trying to cut bodyfat or gain muscle? Or both (recomp)?

Ideally, I would recomp, but really, I just want to get the most out of the cycle, be it bulking, cutting, or recomp. Truth be told, I seem to just be stuck at 255 19%bf and I will happily go either direction as long as it's net positive.

to gain start doing squat/bench/deadlift once a week. also increase your calories, esp from carbs

your a bigger guy, why not bump up your dose to 5-600mg/week for like 12 weeks?
