Shoulder Pain

For the last 2 days my shoulder is killing me, right at the cuff. But I have a full range of motion with no discomfort. My shoulder doesnt hurt when I move it. It only hurts with every inhale. Ive never had anything like this before. Moving it without any discomfort but breathing gives me pain in my shoulder?? Anyone have any idea?

...and this pain has now developed into a constant dull ache with sharp shooting pains every so often. doesnt hurt more or less when i move my arm or shoulder. anyone have any idea?

I'm sure no one cares. But if anyone is ever faced with a similar problem, the culprit was my teres minor. Sleeping on my shoulder funny caused laxity of the joint. How upsetting is it that something so simple as sleeping can ruin you from the gym for a few weeks.

thats funny you mention this.. I have the same problems when I sleep..my shoulders kill me. What where you advised to do to correct it?

Not sleep with my arm under the pillow propping up my head. Then wait until all the pain is gone then go back to the gym. As a precaution, just focus on posterior delt, rhomboids, and lower trap and eliminate pressing motions for a while. This shit is harder than it sounds, though. How you gonna tell someone to change the way they sleep after 25 years of sleeping like that. I'm trying to consciously not do it, but I have no control of how I sleep. So I'm trying to fall asleep on my back. Ive had no problems again, hopefully it was just an isolated instance.

I've also been sleeping on my back now, well trying.. When i do awake in the night i just say fuck this, and turn around and put my arm under the pillow.. It's going to take some time to get it under control though.
