Shoulder press blues...

What's up everyone, I have been training solid for 12 years with the occasional time off. I have seen massive gains in all lifts except my shoulder press with dumbells. I do have a smaller upper chest but large shoulders. I've tried all kinds of nvariations but my weight has never been able to go above 70 lbs for sets of 8. Any ideas why just this one lift would not increase?
 
step away from training shoulders, focus on incline chest 30 degree angle,pullovers. Whether u like it or not upper chest is gunna contribute to ur lifts and u said it urself its small. smash them musclesss
 
I would like to do,pullovers more often. I've never been able to feel comfortable doing them. I know i am missing something simple in the movment but I feel like my tris r doing all the work and can't feel the chest at all. Gonna try it out here at the gym in t minus 20 mins! :)
 
when ur doing ur pullovers. try lieing completely flat on the bench alot of people place thier upper back on the bench and have thier midsecion suspended held up by thier hips.
 
Tried those pullovers again. Felt good. I'm gonna try lying flat cuz I did exactly what u said . I had just my shoulders on the bench.
 
Stick with the shoulders bruddha...but swap out the dumbbell presses with smith presses !

It takes a lot of effort to get those dumbbells up to shoulder press height....

Just my $.02 !

Do your presses with the Olympic bar. Of course that's my answer to everything, but I developed serious strength shoulder pressing in the squat rack. Of course it tends to piss off everyone...

Most people in my gym think the squat rack is for bicep curls.
