Shrugs not on shoulder day?

Shoulder day is just too full with triceps after shoulders.

I'm the same way. I used to do traps on shoulder day but it just got to be too much w/ shoulders and tri's and traps. Now I do them on back day.

That is usually because the last thing you want to do after deadlifting and doing bent rows is throw around 500lb shrugs. Shoulder workouts are much less taxing, so you have more in the tank when you get to shrugs.
we usually just throw in a few sets of shrugs after deadlift to polish the off .
