Side effects of anavar for men?

I had a medical thing going on that was probably 70% of why my body fat was disgustingly low but yes it was 3% and i was making muscle gains, and i have pictures to prove it... and i only put on 3 or 4 pounds of fat in the last 4 weeks which is all im planning on losing, so yes its possible, thanks for answering my question about the SIDE EFFECTS OF ANAVAR this website sucks
because we are trying to open your eyes to serious side effects you just dont seem interested in hearing because you have your mind made up?...
 
Not possible to burn fat and gain muscle? are you serious man? hahahaha when i started working out my body fat went from 10% to 3% in the first year and a half and my weight went from 125 to 140. i stay lean year round

I'm not posting pictures because i am somewhat of a public figure, and if someone was to google search the picture of me at my lowest bf% it could link to this which could ruin my rep. I will explain however. Naturally skinny, when i started lifting i was 125lbs at 5'9' 16 years old, i was around 8% body fat. In the first year i put on 10 pounds of solid muscle. During the same time i started to develop symptoms of a medical issue that wasn't diagnosed until 2 years later. It was difficult for my small intestine to absorb nutrients, essentially i was malnourished and got sickly skinny. All i was eating was meat, eggs, tuna, mashed potatoes, and rice. I have been running long distance 2 hours a day since i was 14. AND i was using preworkout supps which burned more HEALTHY fat. Add all that together and you dont think body fat will drop? The lowest my body fat got down to was 3% but this was mainly due to the fact that i was SICK. I was very unhealthy and looked like a drug addict even though i lived a clean lifestyle. The only reason i was able to gain muscle was because of how hard and frequently i trained. I don't know why I am explaining myself to random people on the internet, if you dont believe me i dont care. I haven't been 3% bf for about 3 years and i couldn't get down that low again even if i tried. I am at 10% body fat looking to drop down to around 7 or 8. Gaining 10-20lbs of muscle seems like a realistic goal while dropping 3-5lbs of body fat. And i am not 21 on trt you guys are twisting my words around...

How can you gain 10 pounds of muscle while being malnourished and sickly at the same time? Quite the contradiction. How do you have the energy to lift weights and run for two hours while being malnourished?

I don't think you understand how this works. I'm not going to pick on you, but instead, I'm going to educate you.

It is IMPOSSIBLE to gain lean mass when one is in such a strict caloric deficit as the body goes into starvation mode. This is a protective feature of the human body in which your metabolism will shut down. Your testosterone will decrease (bye bye muscles), your thyroid will stop producing nearly as much triiodothyronine (T3), and you will literally start digesting yourself. It does not matter one iota how hard you push, you will NOT gain muscle - you will instead BURN muscle mass for energy before you exhaust all supplies and crash very, VERY hard. Note: This is assuming the individual is natural and not taking any exogenous hormones.

There is a very big difference between being extremely skinny and having an ultra low body fat percentage. I do believe you that you were very malnourished, and subsequently very lean - but 3% body fat is dangerously low, and requires DRUGS or a genetic disorder to achieve. I really don't want to dig up pictures of folks that are sub five percent again because someone grossly underestimates exactly what bf% actually means. It's the ratio (percentage) of your total weight that's not water/muscle/bone/or a derivative of collagen. In fact, your brain is made mostly out of a mix of fat and water.

There is a great discussion in fact how many folks that are ectomorphs are often higher in body fat percentage than was previously believed through DEXA scan analysis. Some men that even had visible abdominal muscles, yet had results showing them to have body fat percentages in the upper teens. This is a strong contrast to how the antiquated BMI score would put these same folks at extremely fit levels.

To put this all in perspective, I have about 50lbs of body fat. This puts me at around 15% as the rest of my body weighs around 265lbs. If I were to gain another 20lbs of lean mass without losing a single pound of fat, I would then have roughly lost a full percentage point of body fat by weight. I didn't lose any extra fat in this example, but as my total weight increased, the ratio changed.

Being skinny and decreasing weight does the same thing, but in reverse as lean mass is sacrificed. This is why it's very difficult to do what the pros do; and it's often at the cost of one's health.

I hope that makes sense, and why so many called bs on your post. ;)
 
Because i wasn't absorbing nutrients, i was always "hungry" but really i was just craving the nutrients my body was fighting to absorb. The portion sizes i ate were unreal for my size. A typical meal was 1lb of ground turkey. 3 cups of brown rice&beans. 1 pack of greek yogurt, 32oz milk, 32oz water. Then an hour would go by and my stomach felt like i hadn't eaten in days so i would eat another huge meal. Because i was eating so much, i was able to absorb enough carbs and protein to feed my muscles. carbs are easy to digest and by eating so many carbs i became pre-diabetic. by eating so much protein i was able to feed my muscles enough to grow, and that came from the mouth of my endocrinologist. Honestly i dont know how i had enough energy to workout, probably because i ran off jack3d but i was 16 and didn't have much else going on in my life so i pretty much used all my energy to work out.
 
3% was the average reading on my scale after measuring body fat every morning for a week. It may be off a little but believe me when i tell you, at 135lbs i had very little muscle on me,but I looked exactly like bodybuilders on stage, except with a pale complexion from an iron defficiency. I was so lean i could physically see gains at the end of every week. But clearly nothing i say will convince anyone that I'm not some inexperienced kid that has no idea how to train/diet so I'm done replying on this thread, got way off topic and 0 information on what i asked about. Not trying to brag about my disgusting 3% body fat, and im not saying i could get that low if i wanted to but i am walking proof that you can make gains while dropping bf and that's all i was trying to explain

We now have confirmed that you didn't have 3% body fat. That is about the least accurate method one can use to measure body fat %

You contradict yourself buddy. Just repeat after me, "it is not possible to feed only muscle tissue and ignore fat". Crohns disease or even some other digestive disorders don't change that.

For the record, I've had an endocrinologist tell me that men can only make estradiol from the testes, which any member here knows is false. But I'll leave you be - no sense in beating this to death. :)

He may have been 8-9% but that's about it, scales are indeed the LEAST accurate form of measuring these things.

Having said that, OP still needs a reality check - if the fact that he genuinely thought he was walking around at 3%bf when competing bbers don't get that low doesn't spell out "retard status"....then I don't know what does.
