Here's a yummy appetizer that's great to serve up around the holidays.

Smoked Salmon Canapes

1/4 cup chopped green onions
1/4 tsp. dried whole dill weed
1/8 tsp. ground pepper
1/4 cup lowfat cream cheese, softened
1 tsp. skim milk
16 slices of pumpernickel bread, toasted(1-1/2 in. square)
4-oz package thinly sliced smoked salmon

Combine first five ingredients in a bowl, mixing well.
Spread one teaspoon of cream cheese mixture over each slice of bread. Top with one quarter ounce of salmon.

I love smoked salmon so I always add extra salmon to it!
