All getting sore means is that you got sore. It doesn't mean your workout will produce growth.
People that constantly strive to be sore, and use soreness as an indicator of an effective workout tend to be people that get the WORST results. Soreness is neither good nor bad and sometimes it will happen, and other times it will not. An ever increasing weight on the bar should be your barometer of success, not if you got "pumped" or sore.
