Starting first cycle soon. have a look (questions)

You're right and its always better to be safe rather than sorry but hunk about it like this: at 100mg EOD it averages out to 350mg per wk. testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) doses are usually 100-250mg per week. At 125mg EOD it comes out to 437.5mg/wk. 437.5mg is much further above the testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) typical range but still a very light cycle. On my first I went with ~625mg/wk and results were great and I didn't BLOW up like crazy which is what I wanted. I think if you want to go easy your first cycle do no less than 400mg/wk and up to even 600mg a week would be fine.

125mg EOD is much better than what you originally proposed.

Advice taken (Y) makes sense. how were you're results on your first cycle just out of curiosity? test only? and for how long?

Doc and I were typing at the same time. To add to what he said, on my first I started at 500 for the first 4 weeks, then bumped up to about 620 for the next 8. 600+ was a really nice dose for me. Next time I stayed at 600 and added NPP, also a great ride. 500 really is just a glass of wine with dinner, it's not a bottle of tequila.

Wow, not sure where you heard that. I think for most people their gains really start to take off at about 8 weeks, that last month of a 12 week cycle is where most people see most of their gains and it's why a lot of guys go for 16-20 weeks on future cycles. As far as being turned off by juice, I think your proposed cycle is way more likely to do that. Prop will hurt more than E or C when you inject it, and you're injecting 3-1/2 times per week, rather than 2. That seems like a big potential turn off. As far as being more than you can handle, 500 really is the sweet spot for low sides, testing how you react, and seeing some modest results. Trust me, if your way was better, all of the stickies would say to do that. Don't get me wrong being overly cautious and starting slow is a good thing, but 500 week is overly cautious and starting slow. Listen to conventional wisdom and don't try to reinvent the wheel. Your cycle is too short, it's too weak, it will have a lot of PIP, and you'll be pinning more often than needed. I know it's been said a thousand times before, but read the stickies. They really were written just for you. They are what's best for you.

You're 100% right Rumpy but he is talking about test Prop not enanthate so the 8wk cycle is a good idea. It could be stretched an extra wk or two but not 16 for prop which I know you already know but just probably forgot that OP is referring to prop lol

Was a great cycle. I did a mid cycle blood test late into it so my E2 was slightly higher than the ranges for a while but no gyno or severe adverse effects.

I did pinnacle test enanthate. The plan changed from what it was but went like this: wks 1-13 ~625mg/wk and after that I wanted to get off cycle sooner so I could start recovery sooner and had some things planned beforehand that I couldn't bring gear with me so I upped the dose to 750mg/wk for the last 2.5 wks. Went from 189lbs to a high of 220lbs. I'm 5'10" and 28yo btw. I was bulking in the beginning at around 3600-3800 calories and by the end 4500calories was just maintaining my weight lol. I gained some good muscle, some fat, and had water retention. I'm technically done with Nolva/clomid pct but I have some left over and figured a few extra days of SERM's could help me recover a tad better so I'm still taking those at the moment for another 4days. So I'm 7-8wks post cycle now and am cutting. Sitting at 203 as of this morning. Most of the weight initially that came off was water but now I'm losing fat. Before the cycle when I bulked naturally to 200lbs last year, I was much fatter than I wanted to be lol. Now at 203lbs I look as lean as I did at 190-195 so I'm very happy with my cycle :)

Hey Dre, I didn't really forget he was using prop, but I did mix the 2. Yes, 16-20 weeks cycles would be a longer ester like E or C, but those usually hit full levels in about 2 weeks, prop still takes at least a few days if not a week to fully build up, so the difference with prop is you get more out of the first 10 days or so, which is good, but if you're only gaining 10 days while cutting your cycle down by 30 days, you still end up too short, at least IMO. I have yet to cycle long enough to hit any kind of plateau, on the contrary, my last few weeks are usually my best. I'm planning to run my next for 16-20. I've never done a prop only cycle, but from my experience, I just don't think 8 weeks is enough to get the full benefit of a cycle. If you do have any problems or bad sides from test, you will know in the first week or two. By week 8 you will know what's what for sure and it just seems silly to set an artificial deadline in the name of "going easy". If you react badly in the first few days would you keep going for 8 weeks? Of course not, you stop right away, so if everything is going fine, why would you stop at 8? But that's just my opinion, everyone is different :)
