steaming veg and storing?

if i steam a load of brocoli collie sprouts ect.how long will they last in the fridge?should i cover them in clingfilm to make them last longer.ideas please

yes you should cover, but try it a few times to get an idea. the texture and taste changes and it might put you off

i used to prepare a few days meals at a time but they taste yukky (to me) even the next day

I agree. They go kinda mushy and gross.

Nothings wrong with it, i do it too, it may taste wierd, but WE have all eaten crappy school food, it's packaged for decades...lol
