Step Ups..

What's your opinion on these? One of the best exercises.....one of the worst? I don't see many people doing these.

If you've done them have you felt/seen good results?

I like those as well. If you've no lunges in your routine your missing out.....big time. Also ham/glute raises are a must.

MM I do them.......kicks my ass every time. Do them with a bar and you'll feel them in your lower back like you'd never imagine. I use straps and grab as much weight I can muster when using db's........when I had a partner the moment I finished a set he had to do his and each set likewise after..........by the fourth set your heart will feel like it's going to jump out of your chest. Do not swing your arms....let your legs do all the work.
 
I prefer lunges,but have seen people get great results with step ups.
It actually would stimulate some growth by shocking those muscles.
