Steroid and mvp

not a disease ...... dude read about it ....i thought anyone have mvp and asked a doctor for using steroid ....

ya out of my scope too-nothing personal but i dont have time to read about it-if you would like to enlighten us we may be able to provide some feedback.

my guess is heart condition, and the answer is no i wouldnt touch AAS with heart condition

did i say disease?

here's some thing on that but cut short......

About 60% of people with MVP have no symptoms. A stressful situation such as childbirth, job change, or viral illness can bring on the sympton which are

* Irregular heart beat or palpitations
especally when laying on the left side

* chest pains, sharpe, dull or pressing
lasting for a few sec's or several hours

* fatigue and weakness even after a little exertion...

* dizziness

* light-head-ness when rising from a chair
or a bed

*shortness of breath

*low energy levels often misdiagnosed
as chronis fatigue syndrome

and i could go on

yes yes 44inch u r right 100% but there is reason for these symptoms ....you know blood backflow into ventricle ............) as you know 10 % of people have mvp ..its not a disease but (a heart nature) but all i want to know is there any risk if the patiant with smooth mvp use steroid (little amount ) ????? and thx all

Be advised, I am NOT a physician merely someone who in his own leisure has studied many conditions of the heart due to my own risk factors.

The answer to your question still can't be clearly defined until you provide us with just a little more info.. But trust me this is a great board and you will get the help you need if you provide us with ALL the necessary information. I will provide as much help as possible but I need a little more info as to the specifics of your "heart nature" as you put it and more info as to your stats.

I need to know:

A) Age:
Height:
Weight:
BF%:
Diet:
Training Experience:

B) MVP has many diagnosis which were you actually diagnosed with? (Classic, Non-classic, Asymmetrical, Symmetrical etc)

C) What are your symptoms? (they vary in severity)

D) Lastly, MVP is sometimes associated with additional complications and risk factors such as: EDS and Marfans Syndrome have you ever been diagnosed with these or any other conditions?

Honestly given the amount of information you have provided us with thus far and the nature of the condition the answer will most likely be no as most doctors here in the US don't even advise weight training for sufferers of MVP in excess of 50 pounds, but rather would advise light cardiovascular exercise a few times a week. But at the same time hope is not lost altogether as 10% of cases are benign and carry little risk. That being said please just remember man, we only get one body and one life. Play it safe.

More information from you = More answers from myself and the rest of the board.

So I just came across a previous thread of yours: steroidology.com/forum/anabolic-steroid-forum/591002-wondering.html and in that thread you claim that you already have at least one other cycle under your belt, yet in this thread you are asking for advice on a cycle for someone with MVP. I also saw that just like in this thread you provided little in the way of information about yourself ie. your stats.

I really hate seeming like a forum troll but I am trying to help. Just like seeing an actual physician, psychiatrist, or any other individual in a position to help you; neither they nor we can provide you with that help unless you are honest and forthcoming about your stats and cycle history.

I assumed in my first reply, based on your question, that you had not yet done a cycle so I left it off my list of additional information needed. So.... Long story short. Have you ever in fact really cycled if so what was the dosage, compound, and cycle length? What post cycle therapy (pct) (Post Cycle Therapy) did you follow if any? What was your health and condition on cycle (Did it worsen or improve any existing symptoms)?

I found this that maybe of intrest to you...... i did copy and paste this....these are none of my words............

I have Mitral Valve Prolapse. I lift weights 5 days a week.
After my Spring college semester came to a close, I stopped
lifting weights and didn't get any exercise because I was
too bus with finals. For two weeks after college finished,
I remained sedentary and the MVP symptoms grew worse.
I realized that when I did lift weights (at about noon),
I really wouldn't have symptoms. I began lifting again
and I began taking the anabolic steroid Dianabol (anabol).
The funny thing is that I took 10mg (2 pills) of Anabol
on a monday night and woke up feeling great. My heart was
beating strong (where it would usually be weak until I
started lifting weights). I took 40mg every day and I felt great! The symptoms were gone! I'm now down to 10mg a day
and I still feel good. No symptoms.

I also notice that when I take Melatonin at night, the sypmtoms for the next day will be slightly greater.
For me, I just have to get my heart pumping strong in
the morining with aerbics and I will have less to no
symptoms at all (I discovered this before taking Anabol).

Is it possible that substances like Anabol could benefit
MVP paitients? I don't reccomend that anyone try this out.
Please don't; my case may be an isolated one and steroids usually have a negative effect on the heart if misused.........
