Steroid talk in the gym, WTF!

Strong Man

Over Train
So first off I live on the east coast down south and have been at the same gym for years. The thing in my gym is everyone there likes to sit back and say that every person that is strong or big, is on steroids. WTF is this? It seems like every time I go to the gym this is talked about many times in a workout and it just gets old! Is it just my gym or is this across the board? I workout with guys that are strong and they do this shit to. I just don't get why people give a shit what other people do u know? It seems like half the guys they say are on steroids look natural to me. I find myself working out by myself more these days to stay away from the he say she say crap.

Do you guys hear this crap in your gym?

I hear the exact same thing in my gym also. They are just jealous bc people are twice the size of them. The people that say that shit dont know how to train properly or diet properly.

Man, people need their small little worlds to make sense. If breaking someone down for being better than they are is an easier method than becoming better themselves, prepare for the rumors. The most horrible thing is now it is out of the bleeping gym. At work, all I hear....whisper....whisper...steroids...whisper...feel sorry for his girlfriend. Hell, some of my kids friends came over to spend the night and the kids saw me drinking PROTEIN POWDER! It took about two minutes for me to hear the word "steroids." Here is the kicker: if you get mad, you justify the rumor by going into "roid" rage. You can't fight back. The only way to fight it is to point out the insecurity that made the conversation happen. People fear their weaknesses being exposed. That is why they are always on offense. Put them on defense. Be nice though.

Same here in the midwest. Ive gotten to the point where I put my headphones in prior to even walking in the door to avoid hearing the gossip and finger pointing. Its frustrating because you come off as being arrogant but I come there to train not chat or be belittled because I know how to eat and train. They think that if youre taking gear thats why your big. They discredit the fact that youre out training them, eating right and timing meals. Hell I spend more time preparing my meals for the week than those fuckers do training all week. Let the haters hate!

Well put

I have never noticed it because I go to a bigger gym and I don't talk to anyone. There is always a few guys that want to chat all day long. I am not a complete dick but I have my earphones in and I get my workout done and I leave. No socializing for me.

Am with rip...fuck everyone that wants to fucking chat. I have an agenda and talking about nothing does not let me get my agenda complete. You wanna talk catch me on the way out but other tgan that the gym for me is where I go to let out all the stress of the day and I coupd give a fuck less who says what. You think am on the juice prove it if not shut your pie hole and go live your miserable impotent life.

I agree as well with the last 2. I leave my headphones in, and the angry look on my face shows that I do not want to talk.

I will say, though, that 90% of the people who ask me if I use gear are girls! It's crazy too, because they flat out ask, and do not beat around the bush. It kinda pisses me off, actually.

well its no miricle drug..you still have to put in hard work to see results...i dont care what they say.if they ask i tell them what if i am,its my choice and my body..you can do the same thing if it bothers you so damn much, thats how i feel about it..

Talking ruins a workout straight focus headphones in only thing I'm focused on is contracting my muscles. Pump is incredible who cares what other people thing "he's on steroids, deadlifts are bad for you, he is here like everyday must have no life" fuck you shut up and lift you Justin beiber looking alike

Can't agree more!

They ask like that cuz they know what massive test levels do for a fella.
Get ur face out of a book and in their pants is what they really mean to say ;)

I actually switched gyms cuz I got too big and stronger way to fast.

Damn, I will take you up on that advice, bro. Time to hit up whole foods and find me an organic soccer mom that does yoga.

My first time I did steroids I was honest to people about it because I felt that I didn't want to be one of those guys who are obviously on juice and lie about it and act arrogant. And At the time I thought it was a good idea. But the minute any one got mad at me they would use the steroid thing against me and start saying things like your a steroid freak and all your muscle looks ugly. And even friends will try to be condescending and use it against me and they will say its the only reason Im stronger and bigger than them is that I have done steroids in the past. But When I was 16 I had about 10 percent body fat and weighed 190 and never had even touched a protein shake. And they are 23 and 160 and can't commit to going to the gym for more than 2 weeks. In all reality if I do steroids again I am just not going to tell anyone except all of you guys ha ha ha ha. Because people are uneducated about bodybuilding and even more uneducated about steroids and how the human body works in general. All they want is a excuse to say you look better than me because you cheated not because you are genetically gifted or put in the hard work in the gym and researching bodybuilding every day.

The funny thing is most the people I see who take steroids still look like shit. Honestly people look better on pro hormones usually because they are simple and easy to take. Steroids you have to be really smart to pull it off right. I mean forgetting one thing in a steroid cycle will make you look like shit. My first time doing steroids I thought that nolvadex and arimadex where really no different so I used nolvadex through out my cycle instead of a Aromatase inhibitor (AI). I looked bloated and puffy the whole damn time. And I thought it was due to the ester attatched to test E and figured oh well I should have used Test P. One example of a small fuck up Just from misunderstanding information.

Na Beaves is too hardcore for me wouldn't want people thinking I'm a poser or anything. I try and keep it cool backstreet boys ftw.

Its just straight up ignorance. If people have enough time to sit there and gossip like bitches instead of lifting, their membership should be taken away. They probably dont have any clue on how to lift and dont get any results. Thats why they see people that do get results and hate.
