Exotic is Erotic...
Last night one of my training partners introduced Flex bands into our Chest Exercises... I used the 50lb strength resistance bands. attached them to the Barb bell added another 34 lbs onto the barb bell (total weight 120lbs) and was able to complete my sets of 6-8 reps without my shoulder hurting me.
I completed my pyramid bench chest press routine of 7 sets and was amazed how different the exercise felt with the Flex bands compared to without the flex bands.
Today I will complete Deadlifts in the same manner. I am looking forward to seeing how it will feel once the exercise is completed.
Does anyone else ever use resistance bands and incorporate it in with their weight training?
What types of exercises to you do and how many times in a week or month do you perform these types of exercises?
