Suffering from Crohn's disease and use steroids?

Hey guys.

I suffer from Crohn's disease, even though I currently have no serious complications from it. I'm currently on the medications Humira (Adalimumab) and a low dose of Azathioprine.

I've been working out for about 4 years now, and I got some serious thoughts about going on a testo cycle.

Anyone got experience or thoughts on this? Does my condition and/or medication collide with anabolic steroids?

U need to talk with ur physician one on one about this. Crohns is no joke and Humira is a very dangerous drug, it just killed my father-in-law less than amonth ago. Humira suppresses the immune system really hard, leaving U susceptible to just about anything. When U get into anabolics with ur condition, I highly suggest U leave anabolics alone. Its not worth the risk in my opinion..

Thanks for the answer. I'm leaning towards not trying.

I'm not from the US, I don't know how it is there, but here you can't really bring up a topic like going on juice to your doc.

I'm still curious about more opinions, or if anyone can point me to a direction where I could get more information about this issue.

well I know they actually prescribe steroid's for this disease, but only if it is a severe case. I would read up on WEBMD to see what steroids they prescribe and why. I would start there, fully inform myself on the disease, symptoms and treatments then come back with more questions. most of the time prednisone is prescribed for this disease. I am in no way saying you should self prescribe steroids, just that if you do your research that way you will get a lot more answers on the pro's and con's of steroids relating to crohns disease.

I have crohns disease for the past 13 yrs and have had 6 feet of intestines removed. I am on remicade and was able to get my dr to put me on gh. There is a study by a Dr. Sloan in NY that had all symptoms of crohns disease gone in 17 of 19 paitents. I brought this info to my gastro and he contacted the Dr. who did the study and i have been on gh for 3 yrs now and as long as i eat pretty clean I have no flare ups. I can try to find you the info if you want.

I have also used many other stuff as well the best tolerated is test, tren, anavar. Most of the other orals give me problems but anavar at like 70mgmakes me feel great besides the app supression which i use b-12 for. but i guess i will never get as big as i want anyway but I try as hard as I can i came up from 139 dont know bf id guess like 15% to what I am now 189 like 6.5. over about three yrs.
Let me know if you need any other info
